Keiko honestly doesn't get enough glaze for the season he's having, if TL make a deep run at champs with him putting up his regular numbers he's my player of the year for sure.

I don't see him being discussed as one of the best players of the season, half the time people aren't even putting him as the best Liquid player (tbf nAts is also VERY good)

I would say he was slightly above average with some in form periods where he showed glimpses of what he's been doing all year this season.

Being on the same team as nats has lead to him being underrated but he has been genuinely incredible

He'd be much more highly praised if nAts wouldn't be doing nAts things.
But he's grown to be an amazing player not just aim wise but also his decision making.
Apeks really had some S tier prospects in the form of their duelists with Keiko and then Kaajak

Yeah, I never knew how to rate the Apeks players since they were farming everyone so hard that the top 5 in Polaris would just be the 5 Apeks players so it was like are these guys actually good or is the competition just that bad? Turns out it was both

meanwhile trent drops just as high numbers and people call him a tejo merchant. At least i see plenty of people glazing keiko.

i mean he went from amazing to untouchable w/ tejo and its a peak that is impossibly hard to get back to. hes still one of the goat scan ini + clutch players

true but my point is like tejo and trent is similar to chamber and yay. he basically forced the tejo nerfs, which is why he's my best player this year, even if the gameplay was not my favorite thing to watch

And ykw I don't believe he was ever a Tejo merchant because he'd shown S tier Sova / Fade and some good Breach in the past.
But even if we consider him a Tejo Merchant, I don't think there's an issue, Yay did it with Chamber so why not Trent with Tejo too.
I kinda don't get the "merchant" thing in a negative nanner

true, he's also been incredibly good and has some deeper tournament runs than Keiko

I guess both of these players get (unjustly) overshadowed by their teammates at times. I will say I think Keiko's regional numbers are a bit more impressive since there's no one close to G2 in Americas except maybe Sen whilst TL have consistently been challenged harder but then again trent's international numbers are both better and more impressive since he's done it in deeper runs against better teams

perhaps it all comes down to their champs performances

true assmericas is truly a 1 team region lol very depressing
i personally think g2 will go deeper because the latest map pool change helped them (getting rid of icebox, replacing with their previous best map abyss at the beginning of the season (and their iconic jump))

The same thing applies to TL, Icebox is their worst map atm and Abyss was their best map at the start of the season (theyre still unbeaten btw)
