where does high elo ACTUALLY start? ik its definitely above asc but i see people saying its like immo 3 minimum which seems pretty ridiculous to me

Imo, Silver and below is low elo. Gold-Diamond 1 is mid elo. Diamond 2 and above is high elo
if i see a diamond 3 player calling themself "high elo" im beating the shit out of them
nah im asc 3 current and there’s definitely a big gap between here and even immo 2 but i feel like its not a bad rank, definitely the upper end of mid elo imo i just dont really know where it cuts off cause i feel like some peoples standards are too high

I get what u mean but the gap between high immortals and high ascendents is pretty big
A better description of the ascendant to low immortal range would be like mid-high elo
no one bruh everyone is cheeks😭 even americas second best team rn has a caster in it , no high elo anymore, just people who play the game a lot and people who dont 🤷♂️

yeah honestly i feel like there should be two tiers for mid elo cause im asc 3 rn and i would drop like 60 in a plat game
high elo is whatever rank i currently am and low elo is anything below me
I dare say not even radiant is a measure to be high elo. theres guys that just spam the game all day and get it, and all they have is aim and 0 brain. you should only be considered to be in high elo lobbies when you consistently play against t1/t2 pros in your ranked games, so around ~top100 - 50
i dont think the absolute highest skill ceiling should be considered high elo cause like other people have said just because theres a gap in skill between immo 2 and rad for example doesnt mean that immo 2 isnt in the top like 0.5% of players and is way better than average
High elo doesn't mean highest elo. I believe in the percetiles where somewhere around Ascendent you are high elo (not diamond or asc 1) but there is still a more implicit skill gab between rank tiers. I think that describes "high elo" the best honestly, where there is genuine parody between Asc 3, Immortal 1, 2, etc., instead of the skill parody being Gold to silver etc.
just split it in 3
iron-bronze-silver = low
gold-plat-diamond = mid
asc-immo-radiant = high
