The difference between a radiant player and an ascendant player is bigger than the difference between an ascendant player and a person who has never played the game. TRUE OR NOT?

An average player to reach ascendant will have 100-300 hours. Whereas radiants have ATLEAST 2000 hours. Radiant players are on a diff DIFF level

Why do people on vlr just pretend that hitting dia/asc is so easy like just play the game for 100-300 hrs and ur there lemme give you a reality check ITS NOT. I have 500+ hrs on val but I'm gold 3 peak. Some people might hit asc easily with those hours but its simply not true for the majority of the players. Snap back to reality
It is very true, ascendant animals are extremely disabled. Even a 200 rr player is miles ahead of Asc1

u mean the average player who have never in their life touched an fps before reaches ascendant in 300 hours?
ascendant ONE is already the elite top 5% of the entire playerbase
unless ur some wonderkid that is impossible to do

Some people have talent while some don’t, I am a diamond player asc peak I played this game on and off for since 2023 so I have 500 hrs while my frd played since 2023 too but nonstop grinding and he is plat.
Ranks are fkin useless man like I played against a gold guy in customs he went toe to toe with me am diamond asc peak , yea but radiants are next level , ascendants can only be compared to them in terms of aim at max

Yea so that's what I meant, some people have the talent to do it, but the majority people don't like me. Good for you
gamergirl [#9]have you actually played radiant games or have you only seen professional players duo in radiant lol
I myself never played with a current radiant player, but play with washed up ep 5-8 radiants in my immo shitlow lobbies. And even they just "move" different. The way they aim, it's like they are on a 1200hz monitor with a 16k polling rate mouse. And even seeing these streams of them duod like u said, the pros themselves get shit on and outplayed.

legit aim in valorant is like 90% crosshair placement and its not even absurd for a good ascendant to win against a radiant in a 1v1 haven c long

I guarantee u a 1v1 between an ascendant and a radiant on haven c long, the radiant will win 95 out of 100 times. Sure the ascendant can have perfect crosshair placement, but a radiant player isn't going to just walk into it. They're gonna jump spot, use util, take advantage of angle advantage/disadvantage. See this video:

Spoiler they 13-4 d them

obviously im not saying the ascendant has better aim than the radiant, but 95/100 is a bit of a stretch
obviously the radiants have better game sense and know how to cooperate with each other and has better synergy, if u put irons against ascendants that would be an easy 13-0.
but my point lies in the aim aspect
for example if ur going up to 13 do u really think the radiant would 13-0 the ascendant?
its completely reasonable for the asccendant to get like 4 rounds and thats alrd winning 24% of the duels
aim gap is not as much as u think, however if u put an ascendant to a guy whos never touched a mouse before im confident it would easily be a 13-0 no matter how many times u try

I should clear up I meant someone actively trying to rank up and drive to win every game is going to reach it in 300 hours. I misspoke and the people who play the game for fun I can understand.

I do see ur point tho. A level 1 val player won't win a single round against an ascendant. Whereas an ascendant is sure to get atleast 1 against a radiant. I think overall understanding of the game, and aspects other than aiming convinced me for this hottake.

yea radiants especially pros just have better positioning knowledge timing etc that outclasses ascendants
this isn't a hot take, this is one of the worst takes I have ever heard from this site

bro whos reaching Ascendant in 300 hours tf
Why bro getting flamed for the truth. People think Ascendant and Radiant are close because both players usually have solid aim, good crosshair placement, basic fundamentals, and decent game sense. But that’s surface-level stuff. The real difference shows when you get into the tiny, niche things that separate good players from absurdly good ones. Radiants have obtained layers of knowledge and instinct you only develop from playing at that level constantly. Sure, someone in Ascendant can beat a Radiant in a 1v1 aim duel, but in a real match? Radiants are making decisions two steps ahead, punishing habits, reading rotations, juggling pressure better, and doing all that while keeping top-tier mechanics. They're mastering parts of the game that most people don’t even notice exist. It’s wild how wide the gap actually is.
You could train your ass off and climb from Iron to Ascendant with discipline and good habits. The skills you need to develop from Iron to Ascendant are simpler and easier to understand in my opinion. Not saying its easy, it's definitely hard. But I assure you the gap between the top 5% and the top 0.001% is way bigger than most think.
I'm sorry but if you've played 500 hours and you're still in Gold, that's on you. You either don't care enough to actively grind and improve your skills, or you're just ass.
Coming from ExRad btw
ur overestimating how good people who have never played the game are
theyre really bad

first time I wanna dap up a g2 fan, thank u brother👆
truth nuke
the gap is so insanely massive, getting humbled in my immo shitlo lobbies by some 12yr old radiant smurf is a different experience
iron - diamond: you have no clue what you're doing, at all
ascendant: low elo but no longer hellen keller
0-300rr: mediocre at best
300rr-500rr: decent
500rr+: actually good at the game
respectfully
either i am happy for u
or sad it happened to u but aint reading all that

I agree. I think anything below immo1 is low elo. Immo 1 to immo3 is mid elo, and immo3-rad is high elo
