Okay so in 8 of my last 10 games i have had someone complain and get upset about me having vc off in ranked. Why is it such a big deal to everyone? I'm currently plat 2 as i havent played in like a year. My peak was asc 3 and i got there without comms so i dont get why people in plat are now making such a big deal out of it

valorant is a info heavy game its that simple. players that want to rank up and have productive games use proper comms.

one thing is to no com but to not even listen to any call outs, strats and info is a pain to the remaining 4 players on your team. you might have hit asc before but that doesnt really matter game to game. you could've had more productive games if you had comms on

. both ur teammates and yourself are losing out by having someone turning their vc off

I dont get the problem though. if i got to asc i won quite a lot of games. I really dont see the problem, i haven't had any issues with no comms. It's always been worse with comms due to toxic people and being given false info

Maybe in asc people can comm properly and do strats but in plat people just need to be quiet. There's not a single good player in plat. Diamond is where you start to be okay imo

How are low elo players supposed to improve their comms and game sense when that one time they get to play with someone way better than them in their teams that player just disables the voice chat?

I believe that the better or the most experienced should always be the role model and be listened to...

because it genuinely kills the vibes of the team, my winrate, kd, and # of mics on the team are very strongly coorelated and one loser not comming genuinely just ruins the whole team dynamic

i'd rather have a 300 TRS player on my team than a 700 TRS one who doesn't comm

so me being quiet kills the vibe of the team? that makes no sense. I'm literally doing nothing but playing the game. I'd rather keep my vc off and play the game then have someone start an argument with me which will just lead to me not taking the game seriously anymore

i was one game of immo had a guy with vc off , didnt give info at all and we proceed to lose the game and i go on a 10 game lose streak. i hope that guy sleeps on the warm side of his pillow every night

comms are so overrated, both teams are rarely talking and you can get by with text comms in the majority of cases

people who get so pressed over comms are the worst, if you reached that rank without comms then you more than deserve it

I'm ascendant which is statistically top 5%, if you consider that low elo then sure

I do think comms are good but theyre not the necessity people make them out to be, especially not in lower ranks (which is the majority of players). I'd understand if you're playing specific characters like flash initiators but otherwise you can get by without comms.

I mostly play in uni where my ping is 80-100 with 10% packet loss so there's that too. haven't had a chance to play at home this act otherwise I'd probably still be ascendant 🗿

I thinks its fine if you dont comm as long as you listen to comms , as far as your situation goes, if you are good enough to get asc 3 without any comms whatsoever i think you will do just fine in plat

Are you drunk? I'm from Belarus and Indian flag is bc I support SkGoatssi, nobody in radiant plays on Indian servers btw, in APAC Singapore is the same as EU Frankfurt for high elo players (the only server where u can find games)

I’ve always played shooters without ever turning on voice comms and ngl you shouldn’t care if they are pissed or not. Keep up the good work champ ranked is just unranked but without blatant trolling, nothing more serious than that

its difficult especially because if i want us to go slow or to go a certain part of the map, i just have to hope that the non VC teammate can sort of follow along with what the team is trying to do, otherwise they just end up on the other side of the map alone and die. and when they die i have no info on how they died, who killed them, who they heard or saw where they died, etc etc. i just have to deal with it ig and one non VC player on the team isnt too bad but 2 or more and its just a complete nightmare to try and play together.
