can anyone who isnt a biased KC fan explain to me why liquid shouldnt get to keep the map they won?
both teams played under the same issues and KC got owned, now that KC know they will get 13-6'd on split they should be allowed a full new veto where they can ban split? or an extra week to anti? liquid won the map under the exact same issues that KC were facing, idk why their fans are mad beyond being biased and wanting KC to get an unfair advantage.

Because they played at such terrible conditions basically.

It’s just unprofessional for riot to not cancel the map midways with players constantly disconnecting, pcs freezing and tech pauses ongoing for 3 hours.

KC fans feel like they’ve gone done dirty and that the pc problems mostly affected kc’s side basically.

This also determines whether kc gets last seed or not

ok but from the perspective of the game already being played, we are in the position of TL already beat KC on the map in shit conditions, the best thing to do is play it from there, otherwise TL played the map for no reason, just cause KC gave up after tech pause 87 and stopped trying TL shouldnt be punished for that?

Yeah both of them had the same disadvantages, if Liquid won in midst of all that not giving them the 1 map would've been more unfair.

You could argue that keeping the map win isn't really justified, but realistically KC would have never won split considering how dogshit they were during the majority pf the map

because conditions were not fair, they didnt roll back rounds tl won but did for rounds kc won despite them both having game breaking dcs and freezes and dmg done, completely unfair, the only thing they should do is run back the map and veto

TL say they were having just as many issues as KC, riot say they went back and looked at who was having issues on which rounds and it was evenly split, you know that if KC won you would be screaming for them to keep the map lmao, cause they had to fight through the tech pause to get there, but TL were ALSO dealing with tech issues, accept that your team lost lmao

IF they were to replay split, it would also go against the "competitive integrity" all these KC fans are yapping about where KC gets to look at everything they did wrong and completely anti liquid. It's not the same at other Splits that TL have played or when you've faced in scrims, you essentially get free knowledge on how they are willing to play against you.

Secondly, if you were to remove split from the map pool to combat this

this messes up how the veto would even work
"competitive integrity" would be violated as your removing a whole map which TL may have specially chosen to anti KC on as they found a weakness or something
this is just stupid

As much as KC will think it's unfair, it is also completely unfair to reset the game for TL

as probably biast KC fan, i don't think there is any right solution, giving the map to liquid is questionable because none of the teams played in competetive conditions but it also was liquids map pick with lots of preparetions and they showed lot of strats, you just can9t revert that from the players memory
