I want a fair chance at map 1 yes

posted 3 months ago

No, that isnt how competitive integrity works, imagine if the game freezed and they decided the winner by playing football, it doesn't have bearing on who is the best at valorant, in the same way the competitive circuit is designed to decide the best team at high or atleast medium performance valorant, it doesnt matter if tl happened to be better at lag riddled val, it isn't what the esport is meant to decide. And that is removing the fact that teams were treated unfairly- tl got rollbacks and kc did not despite them both having game breaking lags.

When did I say that I didn't believe we could win the series, I just dont want to lose a series to an unfair map.

"What happened today should serve as a lesson, and hopefully lead to major rule changes. In round 3, suygetsu’s PC started lagging during a clutch, which heavily impacted the 1v1 situation. In round 5, during our B split, we LITERALLY HAD FREEZES in-game for 1–2 seconds, players were teleporting. In a 3v2 situation in the same round, we were experiencing problems that directly affected the round’s outcome."

why dont they roll back the rounds kc disconnected (which were also in more defining clutch scenarios)

posted 3 months ago

if we dont have a chance why not roll back the map

posted 3 months ago

no they didnt, tl got to roll back rounds they lost while kc didnt

The way the situation was handled with the recent map result is an injustice. Both TL and KC faced game-breaking issues like disconnections (DCs), freezes, and other technical problems during the match. However, the way these issues were addressed was completely inconsistent, and this has led to an unfair outcome.

Despite both teams encountering similar problems, only KC’s rounds were rolled back, while TL’s rounds, which also suffered from these disruptions, were counted. This creates a clear imbalance. If the conditions were truly the same for both teams, the only fair solution would have been to replay the entire map from the beginning, ensuring both teams had an equal chance to compete without the interference of technical issues.

The decision to only roll back rounds for one team while letting the other team's rounds stand is blatantly unfair. Both teams faced the same disruptions, so why should one team get the advantage of a reset while the other doesn’t? It creates an unequal playing field, which undermines the integrity of the competition.

The only reasonable course of action here would have been to run back the map entirely. Given that both teams were impacted by similar technical issues, starting the map over would have ensured a fair, level playing field for both sides. Anything less than that compromises the fairness of the competition.

In conclusion, the decision to count the map result as final, while inconsistently rolling back rounds, is a clear injustice. To maintain fairness, the map should have been replayed entirely, ensuring both teams were given a fair chance to compete under the same conditions.

because conditions were not fair, they didnt roll back rounds tl won but did for rounds kc won despite them both having game breaking dcs and freezes and dmg done, completely unfair, the only thing they should do is run back the map and veto
