when did they pick opponents for playoffs?

i think it's just standard format, so playoff first rounds are set as first seed vs second seed, with teams from the same group on the other side of the bracket

No, teams that advance from the same group are on opposite sides of the bracket. For example if LEV win the decider then LEV and TE would be on opposite sides, and LEV would face a #1 seed while TE face a #2 seed.

There were no groups xD

i think its the same as last champs, because everyone came through from groups the top seeds dont get advantage
