What is APAC?

People of APAC have you seen us as one region ever? I mean I have never seen myself as an APAC fan. I think people of APAC also do not see themselves as one people, probably some Korean and Japanese fans but I have never seen South Asian or an South-east Asian person calling himself/ herself as an APAC fan. The diversity, national pride, historical context, and language barriers within the APAC region is such that the fans and players identify themselves by their country teams or from usually their sub-region such as South Asia or South-east Asia mostly. I don't think that people of EMEA and NA will get it but we usually are more loyal to our nation's team and our regions team within APAC not APAC as a whole. Thank you.

Yeah, Indian's really need to improve and perform better. We usually do not have any opposition in South Asia and easily dominate it, but then when it comes to APAC qualifiers we get thronged by the fast pace and competitiveness, ergo getting seethed and boiled by other regions. I think if Indians leave APAC and start playing in SEA or EA we will only then get better.

APAC only unites when another region like Shitmea attacks us. Otherwise we maintain the usual East Asian unity/SEA Unity

Probably the same for Americas, I like this idea of 1 region divided in 2 (Maybe that will be usefull the day riot want to make region based on geography and hold Stage 1 South Americas in Brasil and stage 1 SEA in SG)

The hope of winning a trophy and freeing everyone from the psychological pressure of being the first APAC team to win a trophy kinda unite you all

That's soo true most APAC teams crack at crucial moments like PRX in 2022 or DRX every brackets. APAC teams don't feel pressure of being trash taled as much as being the first team to create history by winning in APAC

Just pick one of your favorite apac player & support them & stop hoping that GE can join champion/masters anytime soon, that way you wont suffer

I Don't know why but people think most Indian's do not support GE and it can never win with non-Indian trash players. Either take genuinely good players or take young Indian players and nurture them by creating a youth line-up. But that's my opinion.

I am heartbroken😭. But in reality, what are South Asian and Middle-eastern people supposed to consider we are not included in APAC and there is no Middle-eastern region. SA is shit as well. Where are we supposed to belong?

Lets be honest you are too far from pacific, and if people say "I'm asian" nobody will imagine the guys coming from India or middle east, so you are not really APAC.

You are supposed to be your own region like middle east and Africa, but because PC culture is not here yet you have to wait in APAC for the moment and be an "Apacian by defalt" (If you want you can also root for EMEA because we all are descandant of "proto-indo-european" but i'm not sure that confort your heart.)

I'm confident about India becoming a T1 in maybe... 10 or 20 years, and you should be confident too. If you want to warm your heart, you can realize you are lucky enough because you will be able to see India growing as a region step by step until they become a T1 region.

I kinda have the same feeling for Africa, as a french I care a lot about every country that speak french, and Africa is the place in the worlds where the most frenchspeaking are (Kingshasa is already the "biggest French city in the world"), so yet I have no African Valorant to follow, not even in T2, but I will have the chance to see it growing until it become a T1 (it's inevitable seeing the demography of Subsaharia), and maybe if i'm lucky enough, I will be able to help it to grow, thing I couldn't do if when I discovered Valorant, Africa was already a T1 region

I genuinely want to know how does it work like. Like, do you support all of them or just the best of them. Like, I usually support PRX only as it is the best team in APAC, otherwise Foreign region teams.

PRX first of course. ive been supporting the team since 2022. my rule is simple. dont shit talk to other apac teams as long as they don't talk shit first. (dont be EMEA and NA shameless fans basically)

im pretty sure apac fans are more united than any other region fans. im sorry i dont understand how indian feelings abt this cuz they don't have a proper representatives, but PRX for me is like the representative of whole SEA no matter the country

Yeah PRX has good representation of all SEA. SA does not have a good representation, there is only one Indian player representing all of South Asia. Rushi Should not take EMEA and NA players in my opinion there have been two NA players in APAC and 1 EMEA player AFAIK and they have all performed bad both with team synergy and in-game performance. GE should try all Indian team or mix of Indian, Bangladeshi and Pakistani upcoming talents if they can all come together to say the least. SA is severely under-represented rn.

SEA have already united together politically with ASEAN (Even Australia consider enter in it IIRC), including Japan and Korean sounds kinda ok since they are asian country too that have to face the big China, they are not southeastern but they share some common point. India alone is a big power that doesn't share anything with Asean or JPKR, I can easly imagine why it's easier to identify as a Apac when you are Indonesian and why it's almost impossible for an Indian.

Tbh PRX CEO is like 3/4 Indian so lmao
but joke aside I support PRX win or lose, if PRX is out or not there i support any APAC team against other regions
