(rank sorted by experience and form)

  1. SEN - the favorites to win this event. pre season win and now kickoff win 🔥 on form but did they reveal too much strats on the run? that's the question.
  2. LOUD - still the most consistent team itw. SEN was on fire, they're still the team to beat.
  3. PRX - underwhelming, but they're still consistently a major force to reckon especially when they're known to surprise teams who face them the first time. big question is will monyet make a difference this time?
  4. EDG - still the best team in china by a mile. their playstyle still relying on their insane firepower. the question is will they make adjustment when facing western teams?
  5. KC - don't sleep on this team. this team rise from the grave by signing bunch of rising stars. especially on n4rrate and marteen, this is their breakthrough year as rookies.
  6. Gen.G - the most improved team of the year. signing t3xture who's the best duelist in apac atm certainly make a big impact. They're gonna be a dark horse this tournament.
  7. TH - the team who's known for brothers play together as a team. this is gonna be their first valorant international LAN. also don't sleep on benjyfishy he's a known champ (even if hes from fortnite)
  8. FPX - underrated team than people realized. their loss against EDG was actually more closer than people thought. they still have some problems with calls from their igl. Also first OCE representative on international LAN?

3/8 of the teams are gonna be having first international LAN experience. the year of underdogs? 🔥

Dont discard sentinels, they're def in the number 1 spot alongside loud. I think rematches are 50/50, as you said.
We just gotta wait and see, if loud goes back to meta comps then yea, they're def the favorites. If they stay using this phoenix comp they'll lose everything, trust me

i said SEN would win today before the game started, when i saw the map pool i expected a 3-0 SEN, I've had SEN #2 in the world behind LOUD since they beat NRG. I am doing everything other than discarding sentinels

dont underestimate the power of on form. remember EG won cuz they're on hot streak

yes, but they didn't come in as favorites. FNC were favorites at champs bc people don't know boaster chokes at champions every single time

yeah but SEN has won two LANs in the row now that makes them the new mini fnatic

why is kc number 5? even as an edg/prx fan i can see them being much higher and even having a chance of taking loud's spot. they have had their core for only 3 months and are dominating emea and also taking down fnatic 2-0.

yeah i'd say they're between 3-5 on the odds now. though experience is their biggest question

if its by chance to win the event, KC at 5 makes sense because of experience.

EDG is not top 4 team at this event

3-6th are close to each other. EDG dominate the entire region and arguably the 3rd most experienced team on the tournament. no reason to not put them high

I truthfully don't think they will make it out of swiss but thats just my opinion maybe they will

im like biggest monyet hater atm but lets not ignore experience and prx ability to surprise teams with unorthodox strats
