nearly every NA team wouldve had an a direct upgrade if they took him (C9, G2, EG, 100T, even LEV and NRG is debatable)

The signs should have been already there once NRG trialed him but ig these franchised squads don't know game

because only Engh understands coaching. Dont need washed big name players. Take cracked rookies and teach them yourself. But most coaches cant do that

nrg were looking at n4rrate for a while and playing with him, yay wasnt gonna happen so n4rrate was looking very likely for some time. then demon1 left eg's jail and they dropped the n4rrate idea once most teams already had their duelist situation figured. g2 had been talking with leaf for a while, c9 had oxy, 100t didnt want a new duelist, lev had tex/aspas, and eg alr had jawgemo but maybe they shouldve went in for n4rrate

all in all it just came down to timing

the sporting director of KC said that an NA team had made a big mistake with him and without it it would have been impossible to bring him
don't know if he's talking about NRG with Demon1 or another NA team

None of those teams have a better flex than N4rrate

Sen has Zellsis who is an incredible flex himself

NRG would have benefited from a player that can play anything unlike Demon1 but it made sense to go for the Champions MVP for sure.

Lev yeah he's 10x better than Tex

pretty sure he was gonna be on NRG but they waited to get the EG players

I'm happy for him. Hopefully KC makes deep run in master Madrid
