Bleed is actually underrated by this site

Before you spam y0y, hear me out.

They have a pretty easy group, the only team that can pose a challenge is t1. Zeta looked mid in the offseason, only barely squeaking bo1 wins against bleed and c9 who had subs so I think bleed will beat them. I think they can easily make playoffs, either qualifying directly through winner's or by steamrolling the play-in.

Also, the team itself is very good. sScary is an absolute monster who has somehow already been forgotten by most of you guys?? Do you not remember how insane he was during pacific ascension?

In my opinion, he is already the 2nd best controller in pacific, and could honestly pass up mako if DRX continue to decline.

Crazyguy's calling was also fantastic, if you watched pacific ascension you know exactly what I mean. It wasn't even close, bleed looked miles better than every team at the tournament even though scarz and dplus were solid in their own right. Admittedly, I didn't watch much VCL Malayasia/Singapore, but they pretty much shitstomped everyone in both splits:

The only real loss bleed faced was losing juicy, but imo they couldn't have picked up anyone better than yay. It's actually insane that we are at a point where yay is underrated. Dude could have easily been the goat if clown9 didn't ass fuck him by going broke:

But yeah the goldfish memory is insane by vlr users, 2 years of dominance overshadowed by 7 games with the shittiest team to ever play an official.

Deryeon and Egoist have also been pretty solid, and bleed has a great coaching staff too.

Bleed is a good t2 apac team, but that dosen't mean that they'll perform in t1; sure the payers can put up great performances against the likes of bikinibottom prata house, but the second they go up against actual t1 teams like t1 or even zeta division, they will struggle. Sscary had a life tourney at ascension that I will be very shocked by if he keeps it up in the pacific league. Crazyguy's igling may be good against lower level teams, but against seasoned pacific igls, it'll be exposed. And dont even get me started on yay; people seem to think that the only reason he was getting diffed by n4rrate in t2 NA was because he was a chamber one trick and to a certain extend this is true. However, the overwhelming reason for his decline is that he just isn't that good anymore. He will be solid due to his experience in the game but it won't be enough to pull bleed out of mediocracy. He has been on a downhll trajectory and chamber being back in meta won't change that.

didn't play? He played in t2 NA nearly all of last year and at least ot me, he seemed to be lost. It wasn't just DSG being DSG, it looked like yay lost all of his confidence and was consistantly being aim diffed by "worse" players. You just cannot be looked at to carry a team in pacific, the most conpetitive reigon in terms of anyone can beat anyone, when you don't have the ego to swing partime fedex drivers

He played 7 games on the shittiest team to ever play in vcl. He wasn't any more lost than his 4 teammates. And this isn't 2021 anymore, one single player can't solo carry a team. Even the current best player itw (demon1) didn't solo carry EG at Tokyo and Champs. You're delusional as fuck if you think those games define his ability as a player.

You are gravely underestimating multiple factors that may give BLEED a harder time:

1) T1 is GOOD, like REALLY GOOD. I would even argue they are even than PRX right now, since I feel mindfreak is uncomfortable having to change roles. The coordination, teamwork, mechanics, T1 has everything. BLEED, on the other hand, has more than a few hurdles.

2) One of BLEED’s star players, yay, is currently unproven. Since he was not able to play in the offseason, the team’s confidence may be weakened: not necessarily yay’s confidence, since I believe he is stable enough, but the rest of the team’s confidence.

3) A team’s performance in the offseason does not represent their form for Kickoff. ZETA Division will no doubt have something cooking, and although the project is long-term, I believe they will give Group A a run for their money. However, this logic also applies to T1; they may flop, but I think with the structure that has already been seen they will be fine.

4) Individual performances cannot carry teams 100% of the time. sScary and yay cannot be firing on all cylinders every match. Now, Egoist, crazyguy, and Deryeon are insanely good players. However, both ZETA Division and T1 have proven players who have played in high-pressure, franchising matches (ZETA’s LCQ run, T1’s experience at Masters Tokyo and Champions Los Angeles).

I am excited for BLEED, but their path to victory is not so clear as you make it out to be.
