may be hate bias but honestly think this is an overhyped pick up , and they will probably place around 4th place maximum around 5-6th is my guess

idk why but i have a feeling that C9 will somehow be better then them. eeiu wasn’t a upgrade at all. Cryo can’t play anything besides jett or chamber lmao. Asuna is good just not a winner. Bang is just bang one day best smokes, the best the worst ( like pancada ), boostio is a good pick up and a upgrade over stellar but idk if that’s still enough to be a top team, think they should’ve dropped cryo and could’ve gotten a better flex and this team would’ve been way better

Okay well I completely disagree with your reasoning eeiu is miles better than derrek, boostio is probably better than stellar don’t see how he wouldn’t be and they definitely shouldn’t have dropped cryo they should however of dropped asuna but we know they won’t do that because he’s the TenZ of 100t unfortunately
Eeiu is definitely miles better than Derrek. Derrek had one good tournament in 2022, and everyone just rated off that tournament no matter how long ago it was. He doesn’t have a good agent pool even though he’s shown he is willing to flex. His only decent agent is Sova but one that just isn’t viable in this meta, and two eeiu has played at a higher level his whole career dating back to 2021. Cryo is so much better at duelist than asuna the only thing asuna maybe has on cryo is his raze but thats just because he hasn’t actually played the agent. Why would you drop a player who has played at the top level on Jett, and performed the best when the team is at its worse, over someone who hasn’t proven anything on duelist besides raze since 2021, and even when he plays raze doesn’t have nearly enough impact you would expect from someone who is supposedly a “better duelist than cryo”
Boostio working with Zikz + mikes has high potential.
Hard to tell how influential Zikz was in EG's success but by the fact he was picked up quickly seems very promising.
Everyone always talks about mikes being one of the hardest workers in the scene. Having him work alongside someone may be beneficial in utilising him to the fullest.
I think my only concern is that Boostio quite literally was an average IGL at best, and was one of the players that everyone wanted out before EG decided to bring in demon1 and shit on everybody, and I feel that not having potter to work with will effect them a lot considering Boostio has literally played/been on a team with her his whole career even when he was considered bad. Maybe I’m wrong once again these are just assumptions, and predictions it’s not like I hate boostio, in fact I like him, but people saying they’re top 3 in americas now, and easily will make it to an international event by the end of the year are insane imo.

I think they'll be better overall and a strong contender
it really depends on how cryo does, but from ranked stats (NOT SUPER USEFUL BUT STILL) his raze is actually looking quite good
I changed some stuff after looking more into it and I think you're more correct
Cryo is looking good on Raze at least in ranked and boostio and eeiu are clear upgrades to me, same with zikz
I think the only thing holding them down is if asuna does well or not
I also think the vibes in this team will still be incredible, all these players should easily get along

boostio is an incredible sentinel player, so Cryo would have to mainly smokes/2nd initiator and I have no idea how that'll work. honestly we'll just have to see what they cook because role-wise it looks odd if they swap stuff around. eeiu into derrek and boostio into stellar roles is pretty much 1:1
Hot take but, I think the team will do miles better than last year, I think Boostio and Zikz is a good mix especially with Mikes (Mikes himself stating last year that their attack side was horrible, having Zikz and Boostio will help them, kinda back to the Sgares Mikes era). Eeiu is better than Derrek although Derrek is great he was more of a one trick and having someone as flexible as Eeiu will greatly help them, new map changes, new stuff in and out of rotation as well as new agent(s) won't stop him from being comfortable like we seen with Derrek. Although I think we can all admit that Boostio is a newer IGL and isn't seasoned enough to gurantee an immediate fix within the team, he has a great resume and I'm expecting big things from him.
When it comes to the others on the roster, I think bang is still a top controller he really shined last year especially in clutch rate, not to mention can play every controller very well. Cryo is a top 5 Jett, possible top 3 this season with the right coaching. Everyone loves to hate on Asuna but people forget that he was in everybodys top 10 if not 5 when he was on duelist and even coming into the flex position showed great potential, people rag on him for bringing down the team and I see that in his game play for sure, but I'm expecting him to be more comfortable this season and a more refined flex, he's mechanically gifted, I think he needs the right leader to show that again (previously steel). I'm hoping boostio can put these pieces together in game.
TLDR; Top 4-5 (possible chance for a top 3 or even Madrid but this is if everything goes their way and other powerhouses stumble)
People are really sleeping on Boostio it's crazy. Not saying 100t is a God team or whatever, but Boostio is a champions-winning IGL lol. He's one of, if not the best, combination of calling and fragging in IGLs. This is one of the best moves 100t could have made realistically. They did very well offseason, - Derrek/Stellar, + eeiu/Boostio, 100t just got a lot better let's be real.
