Didn't play, but the hype was massive so seems like it was a great game and deserved to win easily. But overall the Game Awards event was shit this year in terms of announcements. Gaming in 2023...

W tbh. BG3 is a fantastic game
Definitely deserved. zelda is irrelevant to me cuz its not on pc. spider man 2 and alan wake are solid, but BG3 is another level.
W bg3 made me actually enjoy a crpg turn base game, really is next level imo.
