The finals of ascension were 1 of the 2 games apeks lost in he circuit. Mistic was the 3rd best performing player at that tournament anf in his t2 region. He performed better than any of the M8 players when it comes to overall consistency. He is as much of a tier 2 bum as you are an analyst.

only time will tell if its a upgrade or a downgrade but if i have to bet, i think its a downgrade ngl a team who beated fnatic having fnatic´s leftovers doesnt seem fine to me, keiko was one of the best duelist on his league and ascension but lets see how he does on LAN this time.

The only downgrade is Keiko as duelist, but replacing Sayf with someone on his level was next to impossible so only time will tell how big the downgrade in duelist is.

Anyone roasting this move is just incorrect. I don't think there is a better controller in EMEA than Mistic, and if he hadn't been playing intiator for FNC at the end of '22 he would've been in franchising. If you're going to have a non-controller IGL(and Enzo is probably the best one) you should be looking for Mistic first and foremost. Hoody and Atakaptan are good as well, but I truly think Mistic is No. 1 unless Shao makes the full switch.

Very smart pickup.
This should in theory alleviate the issues that liquid had last year, mainly surrounding conflicting ideas and team structure.
Liquid 2023 did not perform as well as the sum of their parts.

Enzo was a top igl in T2 Emea.
Mistic looked like the best fragging controller in T2 emea, people's perception of mistic is only so low because of the flash incident and the fact he played flex/initiator to help accommodate boaster.
Keiko performed very well on raze/jett last year.

Losing Sayf does suck, but sometimes you just have to go back to the drawing board and start anew.
