Roster full Russian tier 2

Alright so KPI in Spain might be the actual org going for that Russian talent borderline tier 1
KPI is rumored to go full Russian. This year and idk about other leagues, but at least in Spain, players who have played 2 splits in Spain will be counted as regional players this year (It also works like this in LOL)

Insider and Bisk are regional players now, so they need 1 more regional player. The only other regional players who speak Russian are vokashu who has also played 2 splits. Other options could be falltw who married Poetite case hydra player, or even MiniBoo ( I might be wrong but I believe Boo used to stream putting [RU][LT][EN], so I'm just gonna assume him and MiniBoo both speak it xD)

Other than 3 of those, KPI is free to sign 2 other Russians of their will and have 5 russians. This roster could be scary for VCT.

It doesn't work like this in LoL anymore, at least for NA. You need permanent residency. Players that had their 2 years before this change were grandfathered in.

Doublelift's retirement was the end of it, only thing that could have saved NA viewership was 100T winning LCS this year.

on paper this is a solid roster, dk if they have what it takes to win Ascension tho, ntm roles overlap with the players u mentioned

Assuming the roster you want is MiniBoo, falltw, Insider, B1SK, v0okashu: I'd remove MiniBoo and get Kr1stal for a Russian IGL and I'd also get Fazedis as a coach. Roles would be B1SK (Duelist) falltw (Smokes) vo0kashu (Sentinel) Insider (Flash Initiator) and Kr1stal (Scan Initiator + IGL) with Fazedis as the head coach

Japan already has a good competitive scene and salaries.

I gave the options of the 6 players that speak Russian and are regional, didn't make them into a roster

That roster would be absolutely insane and have great chance of making VCT (Which btw they almost made VCT in 2022 with this roster, https://www.vlr.gg/63585/natus-vincere-vs-kpi-gaming-champions-tour-cis-stage-1-challengers-1-ubf/?game=62974&tab=overview)

That being said, I would 100% try to get Kristal and fadzis but there is a decent chance that they have better offers.
Falltw is also gonna be hard, so as IGL maybe an option could be hvoya, who was already the IGL in the old KPI roster

Missing only the smokes who we have plenty of options for, Ig flabben and getting the old roster back together, but there is also Jady/Duno etc and make some possible re roles

As of the coach if we can get Fadezis that's great, if we can't we can also wait and see if FNC drops slk, who they took from KPI this year.

Aye, MiniBoo should be able to speak or at least understand the laung... Though in either scenario, whether falltw or vo0kashu is considered, amidib and pyrolll would probably be a suitable options for Breach/Skye and perhaps Sova. However, having falltw would be preferable since decent IGLing required.
Not entirely perfect, but quite available choices. However, players like Jady would be PERFECT fit for the team, although his availability is uncertain.

P.S. Finding a skilled Breach is quite challenging, and sort of always has been the case.

Oh, I see... China is really cooking over there, and it wouldn't be unexpected if the results turn out to be impressive.
As for the team line-up, honestly, SmartSeven should know better... maybe there's an undiscovered talent is being considered etc.

However, to highlight the overall problem with tactical shooters, Valorant or similar, there's a lack of younger players (or any generation, for that matter) who are good or even alright at IGLing, which is completely reasonable since duellists attract all the focus, leading one to aspire to become one rather countless hours watching VODs end planning things with your coach etc.

The whole situation actually puts orgs in a somewhat unfavourable position from the get go, with fewer good options at hand and, to be honest, simply being trapped. A solution of some sort needs to be found for this, and orgs must elevate the status of other roles so that the desire for success aligns more with the position itself too, rather than solely focusing on being a frontline attacker, which is also essential but not at the expense of overall balance in the game/team <-- this shit will never get old, I SWEAR.

Istanbul Wildcats tried to build a full Russian roster and they weren’t allowed so why would KPI be allowed?
