The real reason why fnatic is crap

their stubbornness.

they didnt play pearl once this whole year.
tthey didnt play harbor this whole year

Boaster stuck to astra on haven and saw the consequences.

they run the same old comps, its like they were good once and decided, im not gonna do any preparation again, since its easy to get complacent and still win. it was ego.

FUT ran Gekko on haven and put up a mighty fight, without any pistols, honestly that was a sight to behold, that is real innovation. even tho they dont have the best firepower. they are creative

fnatic are a disgrace.

the worst most lazy coach

the worst most crap IGL

I hope they drop boaster and mini.

genuinely I always hoped boaster and mini would change their attitude, but no, they hold back the team, they hold back success.

they refuse to switch from old ways. teams are adaptable when they see the same comps over an over again, i mean, come on, i saw boaster using the same nats lurk wall he did in 2021 on bind, is that really new strats?? DRX punished that instantly. FNC do NOT practice and create new strats. they copy, and refuse to innovate. they are a stale team and their house of cards got exposed this event. ALL they are, are an AIM team, who go slow one round and fast another. who create fakes that a 2 year old could pick out.

boaster is a liability, as in, he refuses to learn new agents due to his ego. he refuses to sacrifice for his team, unlike c0m, unlike less, unlike saadhak, unlike boostio,

CHRONICLE was the only one who sacrificed his pool. he sacrficed his aim for the better agents, derke too. they deserve better.

THYE DONT LEARN. THEY DONT INNOVATE, THEY DONT FIX MISTAKES. THEIR PISTOLS ARE SOO BLAND. THEY ARENT CREATIVE.

trust me when I say, they are like a NBA all stars team that doesn't have any strats or any brain, there is no adaptation, just small micro adjustments to make it look different.

the aim makes them look good, they are a house of cards. unlike LOUD who cooks and cooks and produces good food. it takes time to hone that skill. not the way fnatic was just put together this year.

rant over.

they rely on aim instead of innovative strats and mindgames. their reads are horrible, they do the same thing over and over again. its like taken without hard work.

I can tell they DID NOT work hard this tournament.

guys be careful sheesherz can tell they didn't work hard this tournament, must be the new face of coaching and analyzing if this is true

They came 4th without hard work , so how does that make them crap ?? Then what are all other emea teams + all americas teams except eg and loud and all pacific teams other than prx who 'worked hard' but placed below them / didnt even qualify

#8

they came 4th with good aim and mediocre fundamental, 0 INNOVATION. if they had an ounce of innovation it would be wraps.

thats why they lost. are you not understanding me? they lost because they played the same comp, same strats. and they just got anti stratted. its like when you study for a test and you get the SAME questions as the questions in the textbook. that's what it was for LOUD. TEXTBOOK. IF FNATIC put an ounce of innovation or changing things up, they would have put up a bigger fight that's for sure.

You cant realistically expect them to change a comp thats been working for them for half an year for just one tournament where they look sleazy can you? They could have changed their comps prior but thats not how it works? Prx's pearl comp, innovative asf has been used ever since something got introduced into the roster, thats like 3rd week into apac league and they didnt change it because its been working, fnc dont loose because they dont study prior to the game and are not trying to change things up, they loose because they constantly struggle to adapt to pressure and counter strats. For example, Sentinels in lcq lost because of the same thing, they couldnt adapt and kept doing the same contact hits into site against ops and shit. You really cannot blame them for looking at their comp and strats, seeing how effective they are and then deciding to keep them, why change if they work? That is meta, they WERE meta, but then they got pushed off because they couldnt adapt to the NEW meta, whether it was half buy at lockin or any other strat that fnc used prior, they were setting the standard, its just that Loud innovated upon what fnc had built.

I whole hearted agree with you, one thing I would like to add tho,

have you seen MR beast videos?

he has said in a interview that he would never run out of ideas and that he has a spreadsheet of tons and tons of ideas, just waiting to be made.

this is how PRX plays, this is how old FPX played. they had/have the firepower to innovate, since their fundamentals are so good that they can possible play any comp.

imo its not about changing comps as much as it is changing agents, but keeping the same style, (its not really a big overhaul as much as it is a trojan horse). its like when clark Kent turns into superman, everyone thinks he's different but in reality he's the same guy. its the little changes that stump, and its the small adaptations which edge you over the best teams in the world, even if they antistrat you. imo,

FNATIC imo has the potential to be that, but they just aren't willing to be flexible enough. IM NOT advocating for them to change everything all the time, im just talking about minute changes, you could change an agent and it could look SOO different but it would be the same thing, you could change a default, mix and match depending on the style and the team. all im saying is they play so rigid.

FPX had this style perfected to a T last year, when they beat PRX with how insanely crazy PRX was, yet they constantly adapted and had answer for everything. and imo, that amalgamation of craziness should also show in your pistol rounds ( most momentous rounds of the game)

again sorry for the disjointed points hope u can understand.

TLDR: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/WISSuKKTB-U this is a metaphor for what i envision for fnatic

THIS IS WHAT PRX currently ARE (almost)

this is what FPX was last year.

AND YOU DONT EVEN NEED TO DO ALL DAT, with the caliber of players FNATIC has, you could get away with so little.

you misunderstood DELIBERATELY. im saying they could be even better if they innovated a lil. they didn't change a single comp, they didn't change a single Strat. they didn't change a single map, it was the same stale strats they've always been playing. just watch the press conference. they genuinely didn't change a single comp, map, tournament. its a sad end really.

anyone who disagrees with me is genuinely baiting, or doesn't want FNATIC to win.

  1. the title is literally "the real reason why fnatic is crap" implying that they're "crap" despite a 4th place finish without "innovating", so in fact this guy clearly did not misunderstand your bait heavy title
  2. Loud, in contention for winning the whole thing took execs and strats from fnatic, most obviously lotus.
  3. you and I don't know anything about the internal structure, the comp isn't the be all end all. internally they have to antistrat, come up with execs, retakes, set plays etc. and thats EXCLUDING the actual practice/scrims they have to do to find flaws and perfect their game.
  4. fnatic were literally the FAVOURITES for this tournament, actual analysts who are PAID TO ANALYSE are saying fnatic are at the forefront of the meta, I think your understanding of the meta is innovating = better, which in SOME cases is true, but if it were completely true we would all be bowing down to na'vi.
  5. the season has been really tight, two weeks is not enough to reconsider your map pool and comps, along with all the things mentioned above. they said in the press conference themselves that they were a bit burnt out, but notably chronicle mentioned that making all international events really takes a toll on how much time they have to practice and improve.

im sorry for the bait title but I was mad, in all honesty they had a good year im just mad they closed it out on such mediocrity. ( I expected more from fnatic, like an angry dad)

  1. LOUD took and redefined it , which is how fnatic should have done for other maps, for other good teams. it's a foolproof method imo.

  2. imo, with the caliber of players fnatic has, there is no excuse, they could literally play any comp and be good at it, it just takes a few defaults to learn, a few things to switch up, a few lineups. the fundamentals stay the same, everything else stays the same.

  3. personally I was bummed out when boaster said they had a Strat cooked up for haven where chron would play Skye, we haven't seen him play it for a long time, and he has THE BEST stats on Skye in his career. but it was only 1 scrim, imo, even if you had little prep , it was still something new , something different, something that could confuse and cause panic, FNATIC's fundamentals and core are so good that they can pull out rounds from nowhere, they should trust themselves more and stop being so rigid. THIS is how PRX plays, ideally, they are unpredictable and constantly innovating, even if it looks crap, its still something new, it doesn't have to be perfect, it just has to be new. FNATIC have the flexibility to play like this because of their insane talent, but boaster still wants his stupid astra on haven for some reason....

GET OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE (just a lil bit, not too much, im not saying play a new comp every game, just change a few things . (sorry for angry)

  1. honestly, after CPH, I thought NAVI would have an ERA because of how innovative they were, but I was wrong, but now I SEE, old FPX is what FNATIC should've been, with the insane talent FNATIC has, they can pull it off.

  2. yea I agree season was crap, oh well. loud had the hunger. antistratted hard. just sucks to see it end this way.

Yall gotta stop hating on fnatic, they are the only team to win to international LANs in a row and have arguably been the best team overall this year up until champions now they lose one game against the former champions winner and best team in America's and you act like they are bad now? Show me ur logic please

Fnatic is not crap but i always hated how little innovation and adaptation theyve always shown.

The fact they havent played pearl once all year is frankly pathetic. And derke should lose his ego and go practice his oping skills cause that shit is fucking whack for a while now. Even when fnc was winning. (He’s so cocky for no reason 😭. He just performs really well in emea for some reason and disappears otherwise 😭)

As for chronicle, i dont have words for my G. Immaculate util, unfortunate tournament for his aim : (. Hope next year will be different.

Many teams during early Valorant copied strats from FPX/NAVI, that includes FNC. However, FNC never really innovates. They find what works for them and abuse it until it doesn't.

that's always been their problem since 2021 im afraid. and I think it will only change if the IGL and mini get replaced.

It felt like FNATIC came to Champions with 0 creative ideas and 0 new comps.
Every play and comp was the same as in Tokyo and EMEA tournament.

The question is, why did mimi say they were prepared at the start of the match and at the end he said they werent ...

At this point, I think they should get some new staff. Remove the ex Fnatic coach and the ex Fnatic assistance coach from Assistance Coach and add some fresh staff that could pitch in with some ideas/strats.
