They lost to the team that ended up in 2nd the whole tournament and EDG who nobody knew how to deal with until TL.
I'm willing to cut them some slack tbh given their performance in the regular season shitting on everyone in their region, including NRG and EG

No shit loud (almost) always won against EMEA teams:
- never faced FPX
- lost to FNC at their strongest
Let's stop using this cheap narratives. Loud beat KC (💀), G2 and TL (close game). Loud is not an EU crasher, they were just better than 3/4 of the EMEA teams they faced. That's it lol. Are they now better than TL? That's a totally different question.

It's true but C9 were shitting on people too (in regular szn tho, which is different), and yet look how they are now

Only to get steamrolled out of the groups by EDG.
Imo FUT looked more solid than t1 (also they arguably put up a better performance against EG than LOUD)

Personally I do think that Kang Kang is starting to get a little overhyped, but you can't say that it's not deserved. If you look at his past tournaments, he has done well even when his team did badly, and he has had 200+ ACS for every international LAN he's played in
