I hope he can, but for now I can see him being top 20 at best. Even when he played for C9 he didn't look much better than top 25 honestly.

You could say DRX is burnout but even when NRG was playing or do play bad s0m still performs individually well. Also, s0m has 3 players who are supposed to be world class individually but is outperforming all of them and has been the most consistent on the team since lockin to this point right now.

actually rating does show round impact and clutches. It calculates the rating off the importance of a kill for example you would get more rating for a first blood or a kill in a 1v1, 3v3 ect.. than a 5v1 for example. clutches also improve the rating along with surviving assists and just so much more. Please learn how the rating system works before you talk shit about it.

Rating is terrible because mako and marved play different roles within the game despite playing the same agent mako is the engine of DRX where marved was a lurk on a superteam

the conclusion is mako is better until the playoffs when it matters then marved cleared

Facts lol he just took that MVP trophy after a good run and his best games in the finals and then just bombed out.

But here is a counterpoint. Rating is a great stat, especially for quantifying a team success. But Valorant is such a team game more than any other sport is. There is no ball everyone is constantly on the spot.

Optic method was basically giving all the spotlight to yay, always putting him in the position to get the frags.
I doubt that all that rating was 100% on yay, but it should be redistributed to the other team members as well. Yay was obviously the greatest player in the team but rating overrates him for this simple reason, and underrates his teammates

Everytime marved and mako aced each other marved proved he's better, and that's the best way to see who's actually better, ratings depends on a lot of factors, mako is litteraly the superstar of DRX, marved had yay who was fragging most of the times and their roles are very different, still marved was more impactful and better than mako, and the trophy counts for a lot especially when he had that huge impact on winning it.

2022 copenhagen: the only time marved went positive against him 14/10
2022 Reykjavík: he went 7/11 against mako.....
total is 39- 31- and didnt even bring up the tournament stats yet....

Wow its almost like the player that plays more games in the tournament and goes farther against better competition will have lower ratings as he plays in harsher matches. Mak0 obviously plays good teams and does well but Optic played by far the most series of any teams in the world and had by far the toughest competition per match so of course Marved's numbers will be closer to 1 while Mak0 stands out since he's by far the best player on a good not elite team.
