Since vlr rankings are kinda wack, here's who I think are the NA tier one teams, in order

Would you change anything on this list, or are teams like v1 and SEN good enough to be in tier 0 with Brimstone gaming, gtn, and soulcas (when he's on a flank)

Hard to rank teams when they havent played in months and a large majority will come back with huge roster changes/gameplay changes, this ranking could not possibly apply to this very moment as we have no idea of what some of these roster's playing 5 will be so if anything this is just and old ranking based on the challenger's finals from 2 months ago( I am guilty of this as well)

May I ask why you are so hard on Faze? In the last two months they have only lost to SEN V1, and a very close match against T1? They beat Envy, T1, 100T, NRG, XSET, Luminosity, and GEN G in the same time period.

It's just weird IMO, before losing to V1 (which the same can be said to a lot of teams in the same position) and T1. The consensus was they were pretty much locked into #2 or #3 with the streak they were on beating basically everyone but SEN. They lose a very close match against T1 and people have them dropping to barely in the Top 10 is just silly to me. It's not like T1 are scrubs, a day or two after T1 beat FaZe they almost beat SEN (winning 1 map, then losing 13-10 twice).

Just think if people have FaZe barely inside the Top 10. They're gonna surprise a lot of people.

these rankings are kinda wrong, so let me try to do my best to correct them. ABX and NRG aren't better than FaZe, IMT, and other teams. LG isn't dead last considering they were a dark horse team coming into S1 and S2 Challengers events but soon collapsed. XSET lost its hype when they were clapped in S2 Challengers.

I think these are the true rankings, which are based on recent performances, and overall performance/dominance as a team

I can agree with stuff except ABX looked strong in the last vct and are at least top 10 with top 5 potential, and LG just lost two players and have yet to name replacements so they are not in a great state rn

C9 (I would personally favor C9's new lineup with Xeppa over V1 in Stage 3, especially since V1 need to find a new fifth, but if we only take into account old rosters I think V1 is slightly better).
NV (Somehow this team manages to place exactly 4th in every major tournament)

Agree with top 5. NRG over ABX rn because ABX just acquired Jcstani and have huge potential, but havent played a game with him yet. IMT over FaZe and XSET, both teams with disappointing results.

Riot themselves should make up an official metric to rank teams . Vlr is literally putting Soniqs at no. 9 (no hate on them but just how tf?) and thespike.gg has xset at 4 and imt at 5 (which is just plainly stupid imo)

idk about spikes ranking system, but i think (not definite) that on vlr when soniqs moved to NA they moved their stats from the OCE region over so they started off with tons of, whatever the point rank system is called on this site lets just call it RR for the sake of simplicity. Since Soniqs has been paricipating in tons of tournaments with t2 and t3 teams theyve managed to keep this RR in practically the same position since they have been dominating (getting consistantly in top 3) in these tournaments and all the RR they lose from playing against t1's is cancelled out. Not 100% sure with this theory but in my head it makes sense

that's a good take but V1 and Sen 's RR that they earned in Masters 2 aren't added while teams that play T2 and T3 non-riot monthlies get RR spikes.... that's not a good way to rank.

No teams from masters got RR, i think since its international they dont want it effecting the regional leaderboards
