Franchising killed competitive Valorant

Is it just me or Competitive Valorant has become a bit boring. Because of Franchising many talented teams have started to release their rosters or will release their roster. Many talent T2 players have started to become restricted free agents. It was so much fun when there wasn’t any transfer window. Now people are stuck with bad players till the season gets over.

could optic have even kept their roster if they made it in considering how costly it was tho?

i mean yay is a free agent, i would love to see him on nrg especially if things dont go well for them in tokyo. only problem is marved, dont see him being bought from from sentinels anytime soon.

true I hate it when my favorite pro players have job stability

I wouldn’t say franchising is job stability for players… maybe for orgs

yay has job stability?

Franchising secured good lives only for a small fraction of top players.

Watch EDG vs T1 and you'll be anything but bored. By far one of the most entertaining games I've seen at masters - half the reason was because of zmjjkk ngl

Also it's only the first year of franchising, give it some time and it will develop more competitively

Congrats you just pointed ouut One in a hundred game. That was interesting. It was interesting because no one knows the chinese team plays. Let them be here for a season or two. People will counter strat them. Like they did with PRX

Tf are you talking about?? People have known how CN has played since last year.. and they've been attending every international event after champs, they're well known by APAC teams because they're a great scrim partner. 100T failed at antistratting them btw - Stellar said himself that he could not read EDG at all. And PRX is the pacific champion with the same aggressive style? Yet they're not getting antistratted?

You're only saying this because you clearly didn't watch the match, tarik also thinks it was one of the most entertaining matches he's watched and he watches like every single one ever. T1 pulls out the most insane clutches out of nowhere, kang kang is an absolute demon with the op, hitting noscopes, etc.

Teams only work good when you have both good talent and good assist players who can set the good players up for success , cause If you have a team where everyone is trying to fight alone you will lose

Should've had a relegation system like in Football. Basically thats what also happens in LoL. Some teams continue to remain ass and theres nothing to lose for them. Every1 would work extra hard when your spot is on the line

fr the first two years was the most exciting valorant now it's so boring china getting 3 slots and no fear of regletions t2 is suffering cuz it's so hard to win or find orgs and players got nothing to do if they dont qualify their year is over even yay has to set out the most of the year and we have to watch the same matchups in every league for 3567 times
also you have got players and teams in t2 that would absolutely mop the floor with teams in t1

I think absence of third party tournaments is biggest problem, at least blast esl like organizers should make some tier 2 tournaments
