well don’t forget that tgrd/mxm/m80 have a shot at being in franchising either way..

and tbh there aren’t that many replaceable players in NA atp, besides almost all of 100T, SEN main awp/duelist, and maybe one player within either EG or C9.

Realistically the only guys I see getting changed in NA are:
Sacy and Pancada to BR teams
Stellar
maybes on jawgemo c0m and derrek(but much less likely than the other two)

I think M80 makes it into franchising so the most likely pickups are
flyuh and valyn to IGL 100T and SEN
Trent to wherever Valyn goes
possibly Verno over one of the intiiators listed
possibly skuba over Jawgemo

Apart from that all the duelist slots are filled unless Tenz retires or ardiis goes back to EU(don't know why he would) and there's no reason for c9 NRG or really even EG to make changes atm.

it's interesting to do a hypothetical where m80 misses franchising, but I also think they're winning ascension. nismo and eeiu probably get poached by EG and 100t, zander would be in contention with skuba to replace jawgemo, johnqt maybe replacing stellar because they fill similar roles. I think koalanoob is amazing but I also dunno if any NA teams need upgrades on duelist except maybe sen, and I don't think sen would replace tenz. if cryo hadn't turned it up I'd think he'd be a solid shout but he seems like he's back to form.

oh yeah also whichever ascension team wins might poach some players, but I can't think of any m80 upgrades if they hypothetically were to win. maaaaybe zander for skuba but that doesn't seem like enough of an upgrade to risk upsetting the chemistry, if it's even an upgrade at all

also bang has been underperforming a bit, dunno if it would be worth replacing him with zander or skuba or if 100t would consider that

he was the 3rd best chamber in NA when chamber was a thing, correct me if I'm wrong. compared to all of the duelists in challengers, except koala, he's more complete, has a longer career (i.e. more experience), and with his recent trajectory, has potential for more in champions

But who do they replace. Only change nrg would make is yay for keith if keith wants to go back to eu. c9 aint making any changes bc all of their players r young and they over achieved. I doubt eg makes changes because they want a steady core and they also over achieved. Sen would only change sacy and pancada. But those 2 spots r literally made for trent and valyn. That leaves 100t and only changes i maybe could c for them is dropping stellar and derrek but their replacements arent big upgrades if it is at that.

Thief is the most impactful player in ascension rn and it’s not even close, rounds get flipped by him getting one kill (just watch the tsm match), his utility is always great, and he is by far the most consistent on MxM
