Besides Chronicle, there hasn't been consistent Majors winners of VCT.

The issue is the rapid rise and decline of most esports. Someone that is currently 12 wont be able to go pro for 5-6 years. And they most likely aren't gonna be able to gain the goat title in anything less than 4 years. Do you have confidence valorant will be doing well a decade from now?

Despite his insane aim and movement
The best way to know if a player is a good duelist is RAZE. There is a BIG difference between a good duelist and a jett abuser
If he is a good duelist, he needs to be good with raze.

cned? not good with raze
scream? not good with raze
d3ffo? not good with raze
derke? not good with raze

Thats why I think he is undoubtely the best player in the world. If RIOT by any means decides to nerf jett and shift the meta we prolly not gonna even hear names like cned and tenz again :>

very soon already have teams that's been consistent like drx , loud, ex fpx (Navi), ex optic (NRG). One of these teams will find consistency and maybe dominate 2 or 3 event. Maybe one day we will have an skt.
As for a faker honestly the future goat is probably 14-15 atm. Maybe in 2 or 3 years we will see someone rise above the rest.

There will never be any Faker of valorant.

Faker in his ROOKIE year fucking diffed what many considered as the best mid at that time.
Faker in his ROOKIE year won the biggest thing to win there was available.
Faker in his 3rd and 4th year created a fucking dynatsy where no other team came close besides the 4th year in the finals.

Unless Demon1 somehow goes to Lan and diffs both Derke and Aspas and wins Champs, there is no one as I hardly doubt many will move up to tier 1 instantly by being a ranked ladder demon who got scouted by a top team.

these questions are useless. the moment i saw derke win that 1v2 on bind on sova, i knew he would be insane. i knew there was something in him

the moment i saw alfajer with those stats and highlights on surreal i saw greatness. the moment i saw smth highlights, i saw greatness. the moment i saw aspas with those stats in ranked, i immediately went to his stream, that man was destined for greatness.i saw mwzera highlights too, but this guy just fell off playing skye... hes much better than this.

the point is, you instantly see greatness, those players who will be at the top of the board, you can sense it.
