Everyone said it was so fucking good and shit and I finally had the opportunity to try it.
Holy shit, I never ate something so disgusting before, I almost vomited after every bite, and I had to eat all this shit in it's entirety because my mom ordered it to me saying that I wouldn't like it and I had to eat it all, I was swallowing it whole to not have the taste in my mouth.

(I tried sashimi, Nigri, Kani, tempura roll, urumaki)

Yeah it's not for everyone.
Maybe start off with meat less sushi.
Avocado maki for example

you should not have sashimi or nigiri for your first time eating sushi, and to be honest i still can’t really palate either of them. urumaki and tempura rolls are really good though

Tbh, urumaki was the most digestible one

Sushi can be a bit of an acquired taste and, to be honest, it's still not one of my favorite foods, but based off this reaction though, I feel like you either ate at a really bad restaurant or just don't like fish in general lol

urumaki was my first type of sushi, didn’t have nigiri until 3 years after and still threw up even though i really like sushi. if you end up liking a type of sushi, don’t let your experience w the harsher tasting types ruin it, because they’re vastly different in terms of taste

it took me months to come around to Sushi, but now i’ve found out that he’s a really cool guy to talk to. he’s definitely an acquired taste though

I am a very open minded person. I work in the food industry so I pride myself on eating pretty much all types of food.

Sushi just isn’t it for me. I have continually tried it over the years, and while I prefer some over others, I still would rather have something else.

The flavor isn’t “terrible” but the fact that it’s cold, mushy and oddly sweet… sushi rice had vinegar in it too so it’s also weirdly off putting (but good at the same time).

The sushi with fried portions are a good starter to get your feet wet. They are not “cold” and they tend to have more savory flavors.
