Riot has released more details about the #VCT EMEA international league:

  • EMEA will feature a round robin eight-week season.

  • Match days on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

  • One super week

  • Double elimination playoffs with the top 6.

  • Ascension will take place in July

I wish the games were Thursday Friday Saturday because I don't really like watching on weekdays, but whatever. Still pretty nice.

Match days on weekdays is kinda risky I feel like. But maybe its better that it won't mix with LEC or even NA VCT. Has potential to pull more viewers from these, but then again can be risky for the regular viewerbase.

VRL gonna have a different venues tho, I think it's more of because they gonna use the same venue as LEC, and that's why the match is on weekdays, cause weekends is reserved for LEC

Yeah but I mean if there's no more days, if VCT it's Wednesday through Friday VRL can't be just Monday and Tuesday and I feel like overlapping VCT with VRL is way worse than VCT with LEC. Overlaping ERL with VCT and VRL with LEC makes more sense to me
