EG underrated imo

Although I think rn they are the weakest out of the 5 in NA, they have a lot of potential. Remember they beat prime Optic in a good series, and almost made Copenhagen. Jawegmo has superstar potential, I doubt boostio a bit because of his experience but imo what separates EG from the others is they innovate. They create new strats, remember their ratty post plants and wallbangs and fade setups? When a team innovates, they have potential, instead of just copying what works. Obviously copying is great, but it needs to be a combination of both creativity, and using what works already. I could see them maybe dangling around top 10 in the world in the future

The thing is som has played literally every role during his time in nrg so there was never a role clash unlike here where the 2 players I mentioned arebdesignated smokers for their team

Agreed with the jawgemo part
And almost every team will have way more set strats and lineups because the coaching staff is much more important now and also its just 1 single play that ur talking about , na had teams like v1 and ghost and 100t with insane set strats before them
I just don't know why they didn't build around jawgemo with proven players like valyn bcj etc
And sure they might not be as bad as people are saying but I don't see them making top 5 in americas

by that logic yay's first ever game with envy was his worst game "at the time", whats the point of that? why not just say that yay had a bad day in that match instead of jumping through loopholes to make EG sound worse? EG earned that win against optic, even if they lost later on in the playoffs. also yay definitely played better in that series than in the series against guild.

it was his worst at that time lmao , if u really wanna get technical and say envy's first match was his worst go for it im not that childish to compare yay's first match vs when he was the best player in the world
and the 2nd match proved why that win was a fluke.
eg earned respect , cool cool but fumbled in the playoffs and in lcq when people were looking at them as potential contenders
and im saying "at that time" as in before copenhagen but yea yay's recent worst series was def the guild one

Whoever organized the Partnership leagues didnt think this through, NA and South NA could have had their own leagues and both been stronger than EMEA
