What's your guys opinion on EDward Gaming. I think personally they are a really good team and have shown that China is capable of being a top contender in the world.

During their run in East Asia LCQ they made a flawless run and didn't drop a single map, and beat teams like On Sla2ers which is the second best team in Korea and beat NORTHEPTION which is the second best team in Japan.

During their run in Champions they put up a amazing fight against teams like Paper Rex and, Team Liquid which were tournament favourites and pushed them to their limits.

Their roster in my opinion has high potential of being a top roster in the world and should be feared throughout valorant.

Their roster is really good and still the best of China but they need more international tournament exposure or just need to play against more APAC teams to correct their mistakes .
Other orgs are catching up tho . Abo will likely fill the role of what smoggy did before as he has been grinding hard . I see a lot of players of Totoro , KONE , NTER . The next FGC will be very interesting for sure

No they are not . EDG is the only team which can probably go toe to toe with teams other than PRX but not other teams . Atleast not yet

EA = KR/JP/CN, teams from those three regions are "East Asian", that's literally not even up for argumentation
What team did we overate other than DK? DRX are literally better than PRX. ONS did well in the LCQ. Gen.G and T1 are considered middle of the pack. CNJ almost beat TS lol.
We all know that CN val gets clapped by DRX and my 'argument' was just saying that you underrate JP/KR/CN teams

I never underrate CN teams . I've been a fan of CN val since the earliest of tournaments which took place in weibo and Huya . Most only got to know about CN teams through the 2nd FGC . Also why u bring DRX in every argument because i alr know they the best . Them beating EDG wont prove anything because KONE(second seed cn ) beat your 2nd best Val team

i mean its hard to tell the depth of the chinese scene.
i also think apac is pretty shallow in terms of consistent high level quality.
but now with apac being franchised i think the scene would improve alot.
they will also scrim against partnered teams so i dont think they will fall behind.

also liquid werent bad at champs either. (and that game life instead of smoggy)

yeah i think they on par mostly . But before LCQ NTH were the favorites because they just play Masters before that . We only got to know later after results but still Meteor stood out a lot in NTH because he was the best

also Nth being the favourites doesn't matter because in the end it doesn't change anything.

Meteor beat Kangkang in every stat while on a worse team. just no two ways about it.

There was hype but very few . Most of it came after their LCQ win . People didnt even care that much about FGC before.
Stats are irrelevant here really at they end they got rolled but i still think meteor is better rifler than kk
