Riot killing South america scene

if it's true that na is having 6-7 slots it wll be so fucked...the americans teams that did not make it to franchise will scrim everyday with the best teams from the whole Americas meanwhile br teams only'll have themslves and chile/arg orgs (mexico too far)...it literally means that most of new franchise spots will go to na..

Both Asia teams and emea that didn't make it to franchise will still scrim with teams that did so it implies that their level will probabably only get higher and it'll prob not happen with br and latam teams.

BR + LATAM should have our own franchise league fr it can kill our regional scene.

Considering the level that teams showed during 2021-22, i wouldn't be concerned for the competition level. At some point i thought maybe there won't be enough orgs, but there are a bunch of big ones (in latam and br).

Also i'm not sure about this point (somebody pointed it in another thread) but how teams will compete with the ping difference? Is there a formula for Riot to work this out?

they gave you five slots this is just their way of eventually giving NA the extra slots that they deserve

franchise teams can still scrim with non-franchised teams.
they would prob prefer that, just to show less strats.

I think the team will have to move to LA to play for the whole year so i don't think so it gonna be a problem
Edit : weren't they gonna use the LCS type system where every team plays in 1 studio

You think NA tier 2 scene has a good level like EU tier 2 but it doesn't. I'm 100% sure Gamelanders would achieve almost the same results if they didn't went to do a bootcamp in NA.

Actually delusional

EMEA VRLs are equivalent to NA Immortals pubs

Idk where people got this idea that EMEA has a good T2 scene, maybe because riot has to sponsor the tournaments? But not a single VRL team would make top 16 at a Knights or NSG and PLEASE feel free to cry about it
