One guy is good, the other one with the deeper voice isnt. I think balla?

Typically in casting/commentating, you have a play-by-play and an analyst; Doug is the play-by-play, Balla is the analyst (within the casting duo).

What is about kids these days where they just want shouting and screaming reactions for entertainment? Collectively as a species our intelligence is definitely dwindling, lol.

exactly. just like cs players are better. valorant took the tier 2 players from other games, and they took the tier 2 casters/production/coaches as well. nothing bad about that necessarily, good to see them get a chance to improve.

Tier 1 NA and Tier 2/3 EU

not sure what this means, but...

there are hundreds of EU teams still competing in CS. they even have all Spanish, all German teams (etc) over there. Meanwhile, there are only 3 NA teams left in CS.

All the remaining talent from NA went to Val. The EU players in Val were bottom-of-the-barrel in CS, so they should be commended for being so competitive.

im saying that the players from NA that came over to Valorant were Tier 1 (only in NA though)

It just doesn't sound good compared to many other caster duos or even other Valorant caster duos where the competition isn't even that high. Like compare these to CSGO Major casters who are so hype on average. Every duo. But here its Major event and pretty mid casting IMO. But its just my opinion and no hate towards these guys.

watch some League of legends tournaments or watch some CSGO tournaments or even just watch the KR or JP valorant tournaments and you'll see what they're doing wrong

Honestly Doug and balla kinda not as hype as the other casters. Also NA bias I feel like.

they're already too hype, good lord. i'd hate to hear anyone that yells more than the play by play guy (doug?). balla is ok as a color caster

They're really not. They cast like sleeper most of the time. Idk why then they randomly get hype. The only time their casting is ok is when it's NA team. But they have pretty clear bias.

It's not an awkward silence, it's called "dead air" and is a casting technique used by most. its mainly to give the audience a chance to think instead of bombarding them with constant commentary and opinions. quality over quantity, you don't need to hype everything.
