I don't know if this was posted already or not, but apparently GE have made it to the 3rd stage of selection while VLT has been denied. Do you guys think GE can make it to the final phase of selection?

If what you are saying is true than riot works in very unprofessional manner already qualifying some teams that seems too good and evaluate the others with time and honestly I don't see riot would work like this because it is unprofessional but maybe you are right btw skrossi didn't said ge made it to franchising lol
VLT is 10x bigger than GE when it comes to CCs and other stuff
I think it could have to do with the vison GE owners have had for last 5yrs right when they started in Korea with their 1st team
meanwhile VLT is like a pet project for its ultra rich owner who is willing to make losses for 5yrs to see an Indian team play masters level event
so Im sure it comes down to passion as money, fan following and all other stuff is easily on the side of teams like VLT GodL and S8UL
Riot isnt looking for an org which runs on personal money tho plus neither VLT or Godl have any structure. Or else both VLT and Godl would be so up in the race, look at orgs like Kcorp or KOI. Both were started by popular streamers just like Godl but they have proper financial backing alongside very stable domestic presence. In financial matters both GE and S8uL outmatch VLT and Godl by a big margin imo, even orgs like OG have good structure alongside strong financials.
You said it comes down to passion instead of money as everything else falls on the other side to vlt godl s8ul etc which is untrue since riot doesnt care jackshit about how much money does the owner's uncle has. They only care about financials of the org which won't be in dire straits if lets say the said owner's uncle falls out of grace in politics lol
I'm pretty sure the reason orgs like VLT aren't getting selected because of the fact that their business won't be sustainable in the long run...they won't be able to provide for their players...the owner quite a long time ago said that he is going into loss because of how much he has to pay for their valorant roster every month and that he is only doing this as a passion project...also Vlt Is a pretty new org if I'm not wrong
Most likely because GE is an actual organization, the owners are fully committed to esports, while VLT on the other hand vlt can disappear any day since owner doesn't reply on esports for his own finance, also they ahvent been playing that good , also the owner has a history of saying some fucked up stuff on a live stream and he isn't alone, Binks who is closely associated with the org has also not been a good boy.
Idk what he says on stream but he is quite fucked up in ranked games. If you queue in Mumbai servers for a high ascendant-low immo game, you are bound to run into him and the experience is not that great.
Just your general toxic guy but this should not happen because
1) High Elo games
2) He is a well-known content creator.
