NIP CANT MAKE COPENHAGEN FOR BRAZIL!!!!!

As an honest brazilian watcher, Brazil cant see NIP at copenhagen for the good of the scene.
Reason #1: FIREPOWER. Every good team has very good firepower, and XAND/Jonn are not at the same level as Mwzera(best raze itw) and Heat.
Reason #2: PAST RESULTS. We have seen VK on lan before, beating champions ACEND and doing well against Xerxia. They are the ideal 2 seed for brazil to gain a better reputation as a region. On the other hand, NIP has been trash every time on LAN, getting only 8 rounds against DRX and losing to ZETA ( who i think are very overrated).
Reason #3: LCQ Latam/BR. I have more faith that VK will beat FUSION/KRU/Leviatan based off of reason 1, raw firepower. NIP will not do well against those teams, Leviatan has gotten better, Fusion is better than Leviatan, but NIP have stagnated, not vod reviewing, just being a straight up bad team. With NIP in LCQ, it is a real possibiility that there will only be 1 Brazil spot, with LATAM getting the 2nd spot.

All in all, VK has better Firepower, past results, have mwzera and heat, just better team. Tremblona is right and NIP are very overrated, brazilians we cant see them make it to copenhagen for the sake of your region...

Hard agree but VK has some sort of mental block against nip + heat always shuts off in the last map so we’re screwed

I mean last time NIP won first 2 and then lost next 2 and won last one. This time VK won first 2 and lost next 2 maybe they will win 3rd? Same maps played this time too. Should be good map

VK is getting squashed again kkkkk

Nip has been running this comp since the beginning of 2022, in NA and EMEA no one runs this comp anymore because it has already been countered, all you need to do is shut mid off

What is VK doing? Giving mid every round and playing deep on the bombsites, fuck this team

believe me man, as an avid watcher of every region, VK may be "worse" in a Brazilian setting (which they are not), but against International teams NIP just doesnt have what it takes... Reason #2

People said the same about NIP x Leviatan last LCQ and look what happened.
Also, VK is not the same team as last Champions. Heat with the Jett nerfs is another player; rhz is somehow a degrade from jhow and rgl = v1xen.

even if NIP beat Fusion or Leviatan, they will get swiftly 2-0ed unfortunately by any team and any region, as we have seen before. Not enough firepower or clutch gene

Although I don't think they go to playoffs we can't say that for sure.

If VK is better and want to play LAN then maybe they should have beaten NIP. Can’t be bad and just decide show up on LAN, that’s not how things work around here. Go watch CSGO where they do invite for teams without needing to qualify

They are practically the same as before, they improve a few fundamentals, but they continue to play like people without brains, and that works here against Brazilian teams (apart from Loud), that's why they got where they are

I'd say they aren't at the level they were before Iceland

I used to think this way but ultimately shooters / competitive games, in general, are a very mental game, and "just holding on longer" than the other team is enough to beat them. Brazil has the fastest rounds and they try to end maps/rounds quicker. The pace of the game is followed by LATAM, APAC, KR, JP, NA, and EMEA in that order.

I agree with you as most do here that talent-wise VK is better but if they cant play the long game against a Brazilian team that plays at a slower pace, imagine how they would fare against xset or fnatic who dont even move until the clock hits 30 secs every round for 5 maps. LOUD can play both, this is why they can switch up depending on the opposition, if the opposition is playing slow, they play slower than them. if they're all out attacking then good luck against LOUD on firepower.

The solution to this is generally a calmer IGL or coach who switches up strats constantly. The primary reason for this isnt that the opposition reading you, coaches switch up so even his own team is new to the strats, so they take it slower feeling it out which in turn helps their game being slower.
