after lg, which org do you think will leave valorant because of franchising?
farts [#4]ghost or EG if they don't qualify
I doubt EG because they have an LCS spot unlike Ghost or LG
farts [#4]ghost or EG if they don't qualify
yeah not EG, they actually have a good chance to get a spot, especially since their team is on the comeup
gerritz [#16]Optic, 100T, XSET, Sen, EG, Cloud9, NRG and probably FaZe will all leave.
EDIT: holy shit, the retards on here actually thought I was serious. actually retarded.
so the whole NA tier 1 scene, LOL
Ultimate6989 [#11]faze
knights
v1
Faze is a massive org, I would be shocked if they dont get a franchise spot
DONALDTRUMPFORLIFE [#15]M3C
M3C isn’t an org I thought
Just ex-gambit still unsigned for some reason
spookmeister [#19]M3C isn’t an org I thought

Yeah thats the problem I don’t think riot would want to partner with a team that doesn’t even have a proper org right now
farts [#4]ghost or EG if they don't qualify
EG will get it but I want ghost as well but I feel like it’s unlikely because they had a lot of financial troubles in 2019
babysasuke [#19]Faze is a massive org, I would be shocked if they dont get a franchise spot
They dont have the financial stability to be franchised.
BBL_Wtcn [#21]Yeah thats the problem I don’t think riot would want to partner with a team that doesn’t even have a proper org right now
my bet is some big org enters val by getting a franchising spot and signing M3C
bonkashi [#34]my bet is some big org enters val by getting a franchising spot and signing M3C
from NA I bet
all of these people are talking about how the teams that are t1 are going to leave, but it's very obvious that at least the top 3 teams in NA should be getting spots in franchising (OpTic, Guard, C9), not to mention the other seven hypothetical ones in this model. It's not even confirmed that LG dropped the roster because of franchising, it's just a random theory that's being taken as a fact. Their parent company lost $8m+ over the past year, so they're downsizing. It's that simple.

the other seven hypothetical teams (which could be five) include LATAM and BR. That leaves between 5-7 NA teams at best, and if you assume OpTic, Guard and C9 are getting in, that leaves 2-4. It's very obvious that a lot of tier1 teams are not getting in and many rosters will be dropped as a result. Most teams have massive salaries right now, that will not be able to be maintained in a second division. Also, like 95% of esports orgs are taking massive losses right now
