Having a marketable "face" of your team who has both in game skills and out of game likeable personality really helps attract viewers and build a lasting fanbase. Call it whatever you want, but players with that "aura" are the ones who make or break fanbases.
Example of a player without any real marketability is Leo. I see his in game skill, but he's such a boring person out of game with no real gimmicks that make him super likeable or distinguishable as a player. Opposite end of the spectrum is prime EG Demon1, someone who pulled in viewers for their skill and personality.

Boostio is for sure a problem on average for 100T but he was getting huge impact rounds vs G2. I just brought it up as an example of a mid IGL on a team with good results. FNS is not spray transferring 3 people twice on split vs G2, but Boostio can, and this is precisely why FNS is the problem. When put in round winning scenarios FNS will NEVER step up to win it because he is utter dogshit mechanically.
Saying I glazed boostio is insane overreaching. He is still a dogshit IGL, but despite his inconsistency he can at the very least have the POTENTIAL to get impact rounds because he has the ability and confidence to make plays.
Meanwhile FNS gets nearly all his kills from sitting in corners waiting to maybe get one and traded out like the least confident player of all time. FNS is a liability because even though u can say he has better stats, he will never be impactful when put in the right spots to do so because he isn't confident and can't aim for shit.
I'm not saying IGLing is not important, but when you take a look at NRG, can you honestly say FNS IGLing has the impact needed to win these rounds? IGLs arguably shine the most on attack, and NRG has some of the worst attack side win rates on T sided maps like Haven, Icebox, and Lotus. FNS can't call anymore, just admit it.

FNS calling can't even be considered good in the modern day when he struggles to get a single attacking round on haven, historically a good map for him. For someone known for his attack side calling this is unacceptable.
FNS calling is limited by his shitty mechanics because you will almost never see him take risky lurk timings to find picks or make space or gather info.
FNS never has a good game, so you are permanently playing a 4v5 with a human drone on the team. He forces his teammates to pick up the slack because he refuses to improve his mechanics despite years as a salaried professional. Meanwhile boaster received aim coaching and looks much better mechanically, going from perma bot fragging to dropping near 30 bombs.
FNS is a problem who's benefits don't even outweigh his negatives. He is a net liability to the team and is the first person that should go when considering changes.
Having a "world class IGL" is only secondary to being a good team. Boostio nearly won vs G2 despite making some of the most horrendous attack side calls I've ever seen in T1 valorant. If your IGLing is just passable and you can make up for it with good shooting, teamplay, and protocols you will always be the better team.
Now, idk about a solution for the roster, but FNS is clearly a problem.
