They play "sensible" but get bailed out with individual mechanics 9/10 of the time against teams that have better gameplans & discipline. Best way to put it is that they try to play normal but don't make it look good because it's just a guy getting a 3k randomly to win it because he took a timing through a smoke/flash. Not a bad thing necessarily but not a good gauge to know how good they will be internationally by any means

Boaster actually put in the effort to adapt and keep up with the state of the game. can't say the same for PRX or NRG

Trace's performance recently has dampened it a bit. It went from highly anticipated test for XLG to hoping that Trace is good

two have buyouts and xiyiji's a mascot. more like 7 if we can even count cxyy atp

they keep both K1ra and deLb and rebuild with academy talents. this is pretty much a guaranteed since Hanche's cooked, Bai needs some more time in the oven to prove his worth (same with player) and Lsn's not a good long term igl imo and there's probably budget igl talent they'd rather take a chance with anyway next year

posted 3 months ago

AG's run in 2024 was pretty damn good compared to this one, especially for deLb. The staff being rebuilt alongside them wanting to incorporate newer talents from their academy systems is just maybe a year too early for the player quality to be good enough to showcase immediate results. Things will get better next year but Hanche being THIS shit is astounding. 4 weeks and no individual improvement or results to validate his existence in tier 1. literally everything about him is bad

posted 3 months ago

deLb's here until 2026 and I don't see them prematurely letting him go. wouldn't be surprised if they keep him in the core alongside K1ra for next year unless they choose to put him on the market and he gets bought out

posted 3 months ago

atp just rebuild around K1ra and deLb. Hanche's not good enough to warrant him staying for another split, Bai's admittedly not bad but he's not great either. hopefully they at least replace Hanche with a better talent from their academy or ranked because at this point it's pissing me off that he's playing instead of someone actually competent. lsn's calling isn't bad by any means but his individual utility is terrible most of the time and his crossfire habits are showing without any adaptation to the current game.

there's also the issue that Potter's analyst skills aren't as good as people thought it was from 2023. It visibly got worse for the org after Zikz left, but her ability as a talent developer is definitely there. Maybe she needs better staff that can do the heavy lifting in strategies while she focuses on team form. who fucking knows

posted 3 months ago

not done for but definitely need to adapt. excusable if they're academy though

his Tales of Eastern run will NOT be forgotten

posted 3 months ago

seems like bail overhauled it after their loss to trace. feels good to see them putting effort into improving their macro. they WILL be good internationally eventually

posted 3 months ago

once their matches start being actual 5v5's they'll start dominating. Levius is already really good when he's shooting, and Rushia just needs to be more consistent on his duels. Once that starts happening they'll be standouts

posted 3 months ago

she's good at bringing life into players but EG's scouting is fucking terrible ngl. their signings need to be good as a budget org in order for Potter's efforts to be rewarded

posted 3 months ago

I agree. Their coaching staff is definitely a blessing. BLG's always disgusting to watch because they obviously have the pieces to be the next big breakout cn team but have a series of nonsensical problems that prevent them from doing so. Why can't they just be GOOD!?

posted 3 months ago

quite crazy considering Nephh's calling is definitely top 3 in the region right now. they need to actually close out rounds to stop all these needlessly close games

posted 3 months ago

he is the embodiment of an undercooked academy talent. hopefully he comes out of his shell as the season goes on because he is a really smart player, just extremely raw atm

posted 3 months ago

if he stopped being a bodyshot Barry maybe he'd be rewarded for his anchoring. always getting high assists from being a supportive player all he needs to do is get his one's

posted 3 months ago

depends on which org wants to rebuild in NA if she decides to switch regions again. EG is the most likely suspect but who knows on whether a 100T or LEV will want her for duelist next year

posted 3 months ago

probably the saddest one yet

posted 3 months ago

i will welcome Wolves playing good with open arms but blg have objectively better tactics unfortunately

posted 3 months ago

BLG 2-1 if only Whzy and Nephh feel like hitting shots. 2-0 if it's anything more than a 3v5

contract's until the end of 2026, so there's a chance they hold onto him for a year in tier 2 before discussing possibility of renewal if they choose to still stay in the scene

posted 3 months ago

give him actual team comms and he's top 1

posted 3 months ago

either DRG go tier 2 and maintain his salary, another cn tier 1/2 team drops the bag, or he gets an actually good offer from an EMEA team that isn't literal pennies

he would unironically save EMEA if he got good offers

AG rebuild their rosters regardless of if they do well every year lmfaooo. If they win they sell their players off and if they do bad they sell their players off or send them to academy. It's a guarantee that next year the lineup's going to be completely different. K1ra and deLb have the best chances of staying because I legit don't see the management wanting to let go of their potential
