used to be 3 but pl1xx was doomed from the start on wolves
they always blow up too. the "kpopification" shit is more than enough proof that they're a whole different breed
they gotta be the most successful baiters in the valorant community atp. no one else even comes close 💀
don't remind me of the rest of them ðŸ˜. literal superteam of rising mechanical talents on paper. hopefully fayde can show us more of what they're capable of because they're lacking some depth
this season is theirs to prove everyone wrong for sure. Yuicaw and Spring are too talented to be this inconsistent
#MRGWIN
I'm always looking at them for how they SHOULD be doing. their roster quality is too good for how fucking terrible they disappoint and I'm not comfortable writing them off until I see them crash and burn for the rest of the season myself
their only real competition for qualifying to toronto at the moment is XLG BLG and (maybe) wolves from what we've seen so far. they could definitely make it from what we've seen, and in my opinion, should be considered favorites depending on how confident you are in BLG
idk if it's a hot take that NOVA are making an actually smart decision. They've been looking soooo much more coordinated since putting in OBONE. I hope Swerl's learning mandarin and gets better at communicating. He has a bright future in the region
got 2nd in split 3 and thought he was hot shit ig
didn't mean to reply to you ðŸ˜. I agree though Wolves' roster on paper is one of the best in the region all they need to do is clean Siu's calling up. anything other than top 4 playoffs is a failure (unfortunately)
I'm pretty high on babyblue despite thinking he would be mid when he was picked up. Stew's stew and jkuro's inconsistent but can be a massive fragger in key moments. If Ego can clean up their fundamentals they could definitely win this
I give them a slap on the wrist because everyone outside of Monk is fucking gone from the active lineup and Fire3 probably didn't start his system until a bit before he was announced. After like week 3 though they deserve every single piece of shit-talk available
no announcement yet but the roster's maybe going to be K1ra, Monk, lsn, bai, deLb. Bunt has an active buyout and player MAY be subbed in from the academy, I have no idea about them
NAVI 2023 3rd/4th at Lock In -> Grouped in Tokyo -> Grouped in Champs
PRX 2024 3rd Madrid -> 6th Shanghai -> Grouped in Champs
EDG 2025 3rd Bangkok -> ???
he's eating the entirety of kr tier 2 alive 💀 nvm was thinking of TenTen but yeah he's still a good anchor
What people are missing with NOVA isn't only that they have the most upset potential internationally, but the coaching staff are focusing on laying a solid foundation for their structure. Their macro and fundamentals have improved so much compared to last season, and they've evolved past the mediocre flash-in-the-pan form that barely scraped them into stage 1 playoffs. Legit they are THE team to look out for in terms of improvement so far
I made a thread previously on which teams/rosters people thought would be future breakouts for CN
what current players do you guys think will be future staples of the different leagues?
do you have any idea what they're doing??? I thought they'd immediately announce smth but I guess not
they had a complete staff overhaul, rebuilt the roster and a lot of shit's been going on behind the scenes in regards to player buyouts. they're shit rn but I'd wait until split 1 to make any accusations of the coach's competence
not surprised since historically the org is really good on getting on top of younger prospects in academy. I wonder who it is for him to say that this early into the league's lifespan
Makes sense. I'm really curious to see how they handle all the roles along with the igling. Player isn't bad but imo he doesn't really add anything that other options would bring at the moment, but I guess that's why they're letting him cook some more in the academy. I need to hop onto weibo and bilibili more so I can have a better idea on wtf is going on T_T
isn't this insurance incase they underperform for stage 1?
alright so my suspicions are correct that shit got immensely more complicated outside the game, but what does that ultimately mean for the roles now that TZH is gone? Bunt is also on the market so not having another primary controller player is weird. I assume Bai is going to fill duelist and K1ra back on smokes (also why did Bai change his alias? Carl was a better name)
honestly in the future it'd be fun if you or someone else did this concept but with the fantasy draft tmv website or other means. have the "team" representatives do a draft every split-> "team" with most points in their region every stage win their "league" and the "team" with most points overall by champs wins the whole thing. probably infeasible but just getting the idea out there
attention from jobless immortal grinders. fucking insanity
he could be trolling in match chat but regardless that is so fucking dumb to do ðŸ˜. subhuman iq action just for 5 seconds of ranked community attention
no shot he's that fucking stupid 😂. literal career suicide + any semblance of a background check and he's done. setting himself up for failure
unfortunate fate of serving as an example for T1's run
can anyone tell me what this says? all I'm reading is a whole lot of nothing
I mean yeah no shit it's a very high risk mostly low reward policy. it's the reason I'm a fan though since they always strike gold eventually. give them time and they'll randomly have a contender roster lmfaooooo
inconsistent depending on the competition and he plays duelist and that conflicts with K1ra and deLb's roles, if I had to guess the reason. they tried to put him on other roles but it was abysmal
does that change what I said?
his contract ended since it was only 2 months. he's still F/A afaik
nah they're actually pretty self-centered in their efforts and do a pretty good job at keeping the talent they home grow that's worthwhile (they have money). whether or not they do that in valorant is another matter T_T
AG is an org that historically goes really deep in talent scouting in other games, so that's probably what they've been doing in the meantime between 2024 and now. Explains why some of these players came out of absolutely nowhere and the bowels of tier 2
when has RIOT ever said that they WOULDN'T be pivoting off the counter strike direction? "why is the grass green" ass thinking
I've been a ride or die for over a year now and I ain't stopping. I will keep supporting this team until the sun explodes
I don't necessarily disagree with benching him. I'm more confused with what they've been doing with the role shuffles. trying to find K1ra's superstar role is good, but they have Bunt who can play both smokes and initiators at a pretty consistent level, but they have Bunt trying out duelists? Monk pretty much only plays initiators since they have K1ra and deLb who both flex onto smokes and sentinels respectively. The only thing I can think that makes sense is that they're trying to build ppl around K1ra and deLb but it devolves into them throwing shit at a wall and seeing what sticks (or at least that's what it looks like). I think they're in a really awkward transition period where they don't have the infrastructure yet to facilitate their younger talent scouting, so they're still trying to build with the previous roster iteration on top of the new kids they've brought into the lineup and it creates a garbled mess of ideas and messy execution. It doesn't help that they had limited time in the offseason with all the changes in staff. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
alright well they got someone new now. i have no idea who this is (not on their academy) but we ball ig
thx it's not bad. just a lot of writing 😂
this semester got me fucked up bro. whenever I'm discussing I automatically default to that tone ðŸ˜
legit wtf does that even mean? scrims are so unreliable for 1-to-1 result predictions that it's not even funny. other teams could've been drilling, focusing on certain set-plays, midrounding, etc. scrims aren't just "run it and try to win" it's focusing on patching your holes and weaknesses
yeah idk it feels like people always forget that management's job isn't just sitting on their ass and firing/hiring people. a lot of information and context is needed for decisions to be made. Managers are closely in-tune with team dynamics and practices. the entire thing is a business after all
