Yeah but it works for their Icebox comp and after all he is the sentinel player of this team if you don't count Chamber. I would like to see Liquid's Icebox comp played by Fnatic tho. I think it would suit them perfectly. Alfajer Raze and Enzo Fade would be more comfortable I think.

Fnatic Icebox has usually been really dominant, but today I feel like their form was really bad and its also possible that teams have started to learn how to play against them. It worked well before, but Furia played with them here. Also Derke and Alfajer were not hitting and those 2 are usually really dominant on Icebox.

That was terrible from Fnatic. I know I'm only dumb spectator and don't know how hard it is for the players in game but holy fuck. I don't think I have ever been this mad over someone's performance.

Problem with Derke is that he is missing so many OP shots. Even against 100T he was constantly missing really basic shots. His rifling is really good, but he isn't super strong with OP compared to players like Yay or Ardiis. Even if he hit ACE there.

Mini has said in chats before that Fnatic can play Breeze, so I would imagine that they are pretty comfortable with it but just don't play because their map pool is pretty good overall. But actually so interesting to know what agents they will be playing. Derke Jett? Alfajer Chamber?

Last time I remember Fnatic playing Breeze was when Magnum was playing A pyramids as Killjoy and dying with his ulti lol that is actually the last time I remember them

Unlikely, but not impossible. All you need is just Fnatic having off day and that's it. That's Valorant. And I still think main reason Fnatic lost vs 100T was because Pearl is new map.

nah, but tbh any team has a chance at beating anyone in the tournament. The difference between the levels isn't that big and anything can happen in this game. Think about Acend losing their game vs VK and then just rolling though the tournament and winning the whole thing. Everything is possible. No team outside of BOOM and EDG are out yet.

Its just good comp and Fnatic knows perfectly how to play it. Like just look at G2 they have also been really dominant on Icebox with same comp. Its just really good if you know how to play it and are comfortable with it. Also even outside of that Fnatic has always been good on Icebox so the players are likely just really comfortable on that map. Boaster with his calls and Derke with his killing etc.

Some time ago he streamed his trials for some tier 3 team. Didn't look good tho for what I saw.

We have mandatory military service here as well so my assumption and research (haven't been in army yet):
You have to serve after turning 18 and I would imagine that most serve year or two after that due to school etc and you have to serve before turning 28-30?. And Korean have to serve for about 20 months.
And for tasks its just basic military training and then you specialize to certain branch. It likely has different periods aka starting with basic stuff that is taught for everyone and then more specific and obviously during this time you do your serve in whatever branch you are in. Let it be navy or whatever.
And if you reject you are likely going to end up in jail. Also at least we have option for civil service aka 11 months doing usually government provided jobs and I would imagine South Korea having something similar but for longer due to our service only lasting 6-12 months instead of 20.

Yeah the game was close, but my point was that I thought Liquid would get grouped because of their form at the time. They were looking pretty weak in EMEA and just got carried by their individual skill. Classic Liquid tbh.

Pheonix can add a lot of pressure on both sites and middle due to wall, but yeah I don't see why would you play this. But who knows.

Leviatan is insane. Wasn't too sure after Liquid game, but them 2-0ing TL and PRX is impressive. All things considered IMO they might even look like the best team in the tournament right now so far. Their form is just really good rn. TL and PRX weren't playing their best against LEV, but still.

lol but in all seriousness I mean teams like Vitality, MAD Lions, KOI, Heretics teams like that who have good pieces but not tier 1 level rosters.

What I'm scared of is that there will be orgs with tier 2 level rosters taking franchising spots and not making enough changes for next year.

They should have gotten grouped during Reykjavik, but made it out so no problem if they get grouped here. Hard group especially with Leviatan performing like they did. And on top of that their form against Leviatan wasn't same as in LCQ.

Yeah APAC having as many slots as EMEA and NA feels weird, but it likely has to do with the population. Also PRX and Xerxia are always top 2 so someone else getting a chance competing internationally is good for the region.

I was predicting EDG, but after seeing Leviatan vs PRX I'm not so sure anymore. I feel like TL's problems won't be as problematic when facing EDG. They aren't the greatest when it comes to strats and stuff so Scream doesn't have to trying to outbrain them.
