I think this game just once again highlighted some of Liquid's clear problems.

world needs Onur vs BarBarr fight holy both also look fit af so imagine that

nukkye and rest of G2. Guy looks mad always and gives pretty bad vibes on stream IMO. A lot of passive aggressiveness.

OpTic were the favorites for sure and TL gave them good fight on Breeze and Bind all things considered. But I'm just more disappointed of some of the individuals. I think there was just many bad individual decision makings that ended up losing them rounds. For example Bind was winnable IMO, but then you have ego peeks, bad positions and whiffs from Dimasick. Bad decision making tunnel visioning from Nivera. Bad awareness on Ascent etc.

posted about 2 years ago

nah if they have a chance much rather pick proper IGL from either Koldamenta or Redgar and get rid of Dimasick. I still believe there's potential in soulcas to not try him with proper IGL if possible. Dimasick is decent as well, but I would rather replace him.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah Monsteerr is really good already and has bright future. On top of that his decision making seems to be really good and he seems to have really good understanding of the game looking at some of Acend's games and his plays. Something that Nivera is lacking IMO.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah it kind of feels like it. He has been so off for most of this year. Like maybe try to get nAts or someone like Monsteerr potentially.

  • Nivera, -Dimasick
    +Koldamenta/Redgar, +nAts/Monsteerr
would be perfect knowing that M3C, Guild and Acend are all likely out of franchising

Some of these players have so bad awareness holy. Liquid has to be the most unaware team in the tournament.

posted about 2 years ago

He really needs to step up. Feels like a liability for Team Liquid nowadays. Obviously he is the sentinel player so his role is more than just fragging, but his game sense or awareness doesn't seem to be really good (when it comes to pros). He is usually the player who will just push somewhere without thinking someone may be there, or he is just completely forgetting where the enemies were like today on Breeze where he almost gave Marved free kill by forgetting the angles. Or just chasing FNS to teleport without thinking OpTic player might be on A short. He just has many moments like this nowadays.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah TL strat against ecos: wait and let's take individual duels. Like why not just find Chamber and then rush to other side or some shit. Way better than playing scared losing 1 by 1.

posted about 2 years ago

Lost them the round. Peaking Yay Chamber for no reason and then Nivera just tunnel visions to FNS completely ignoring A short. So many throws that round.

posted about 2 years ago

Nivera has been pretty meh for quite a while already. His decision making and awareness is so bad at times and whiffs quite often nowadays. He has good moments also and a lot of impact, but I feel like he has looked worse as time has went by. Hopefully he will bounce back though.

because Pheonix is way better choice for Scream and if you can farm ult orbs its really effective. Also you can use his wall and flashes for a lot of pressure on both sides. So many times Scream would go mid and wall door and flash through.

posted about 2 years ago

Some players just are like that. They want to concentrate and keep themselves focused. Also when you are in team with Scream and Jamppi you don't need to bring much hyping up.

posted about 2 years ago

What did you expect? Go to Turkey and they are likely going to cheer for the team that has ScreaM and Jamppi over some NA team.

posted about 2 years ago

He had pretty terrible first half outside of util usage. Losing so many duels to FNS lol

That is good though. CSGO chat >>>>>> Valorant chat not even close

peak form EMEA > NA easily
just depends on which form we will see today

posted about 2 years ago

Why do you talk alot of shit, but when you're losing and get trash talk back, you guys become so fucking soft and cry about everything. Be prepared for some shit talk like how NA people does even if they're losing, mental not strong, skill issue probably.

Who is Hooxi? For the blind, He is the vision. For the hungry, He is the chef. For the thirsty, He is the water. If Hooxi thinks, I agree. If Hooxi speaks, I’m listening. If Hooxi has one fan, it is me. If he has no fans, I don’t exist.

How so? Individually peak form Derke is top 3 player in the world and Alfajer is strong top 10.

posted about 2 years ago

He feels really similar to Jamppi at times. Both have the need to be the playmaker and sometimes it works, but it also ends up costing bad time to time. I don't know does this tell something about ANGE1 calling where he might not be too confident in it or he is too confident so he either has this need to do really risky plays for openers or he thinks they aren't risky because he has the read. I don't know. In Jamppi's case it kind of makes sense because TL doesn't have proper IGL, but ANGE1's case it really doesn't. Both have good teams that bail them out often after making these plays.

Yeah I really wonder why do they keep banning Haven. To my memory that isn't even that strong for DRX. Like are they getting fucked on scrims? Or do they think its too readable? Or are they just cocky and try to save it for bad day? Its weird. Haven suits their players role wise as well.

posted about 2 years ago

They aren't small decisions but you get my point. He does some good plays with nice decision making but then make that final bad decision that ends up costing him. Like if he didn't strafe in those moments he could have likely gotten 1 if not more kills. And he did well getting behind DRX and could have won the round but decides to pull out knife last second and loses it.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah that is also the thing that they just keep changing comps all the time as well. Like they suck on it but then go in with almost no prep with new comp and think they can win. If you play just set on 1 comp that you try to improve on. But no. Let's play ANGE1 Fade, ANGE1 Omen and all that shit. Like this map just doesn't seem to work with their roster, but hey let's ban Haven that is perfect for agent picks.

posted about 2 years ago

True. Like what might even be the reason they keep banning Haven? Getting rolled in scrims? Too cocky? They won Haven vs DRX with a sub last time around. They aren't bad on that map and individually it should suit this team perfectly. Let Zyppan go Raze, Shao Fade, Ardiis Chamber etc. But instead pick Breeze and play different comps every time. They look so lost and have no idea what they are doing. Looks so uncomfortable. Easily their worst map but keep letting it through in international tournament.

posted about 2 years ago

I don't get this either. Their Haven is really decent while their Breeze sucks ass. They just keep letting Breeze through and play different comps every time.

posted about 2 years ago

Yes if they just keep banning Breeze ffs. They are just so bad at it and have otherwise good map pool so I don't get why they keep banning Haven over it? Like they definitely have a reason for that, but ffs just ban Breeze its always been so dogshit map for them after their Yoru got countered. Like how can Haven be any worse? Let it be vs XSET or DRX. Its really winnable.

posted about 2 years ago

He always does those really little things that end up destroying his plays. Standing in corner, but strafing around so the enemy can see him like on Ascent tiles and Breeze halls today. Or getting perfect flank just to pull knife out at last second while you already see B Window doorway. Like those little details that end up completely ruining his otherwise good plays.

posted about 2 years ago

yeah but that happens every LAN

posted about 2 years ago

FPX banning Haven over Breeze is bit troll I feel like did same vs XSET

posted about 2 years ago

so many throws from both teams but that is what made it good

posted about 2 years ago

WTF

posted about 2 years ago

FPX way overrotated based on wall being broken... but good from DRX

posted about 2 years ago

FPX looks so off so far

posted about 2 years ago

maybe IMO Leo is superstar level initiator player like we've seen in the past and have heard from multiple people while BcJ isn't. BcJ is good, but top 5 out of any initiator player? Don't think so.

posted about 2 years ago

Any team can stop anyone. Also both LOUD and LEV play against each other all the time, so they know each other well. Its bit different when they play against other regions.

posted about 2 years ago

I just feel people are forgetting that BcJ was really mid during Copenhagen only because he had 1 good game vs FPX. But opinion respected.

posted about 2 years ago

Leo plays Sova, Fade and Breach. That's all he needs. And guy with his game sense and mechanics could pick up any agent. He has played multiple agents including Kay/O, but doesn't have to anymore because its covered by other players.

posted about 2 years ago

Leo top 5 IMO. He had bad final game in Copenhagen, but before that he was on fire and has always been. I for example rate him higher than BcJ. BcJ had good game against FPX, but outside of that there are better initiators.

tbh its not full yet and I don't think there's many SA fans there. I think European especially Fnatic and some other teams with big org names should get more cheering.

sorry I just don't want you to be disappointed if you ever got the chance lol

yeah I love esports because gaming is nice an enjoy it and its really easily accessible. No need to pay 30 euros per month for channel packet to watch football games once in a while (unless you go to shady sites).

And that is cool to hear, but wouldn't recommend those foods. Personally I hate them. Mämmi taste like rye bread without butter and kalakukko is just fish and pork? inside of pastry, haven't tried in long time.

She has done bunch of gaming related stuff tho. She's done LoL Worlds songs with Riot Games, has performed on the events, streams games, was on Riot Arcane event as host, hosted some Twitch gaming show or whatever it was etc. I don't know how much she knows about Valorant, but hosts don't need to be super into the games they host. Many successful hosts like Machine, sjokz etc has been hosting multiple different games from FPS to Moba.

I have never really followed F1 much because it used to be pretty expensive to watch due to licenses, but ofc Kimi is goat of Finnish sports. I don't watch much actual sports outside of some big football games and national ice hockey games.

posted about 2 years ago

Football is popular here and most played if I'm not wrong, but ice hockey is more popular as spectator sport and maybe Formula 1. But football is still high up we just don't have much success on it so national games etc don't boost the numbers as much as hockey does.
