tsm vs darkzero should literally not even be close. period. a team with the money and roster talent of tsm should destroy a tier2 team from the planet. and yet here i am, with good reason, not ready to trust my own team with it yet.

as a tsm fan i do NOT want to play darkzero again, that series was way closer than it should have been with our old roster. i still believe we would win but idk what to expect with such a new roster

yeah babybay obviously a better jett bc he played it over corey on faze. maybe tsm tries maps other than ascent/haven so corey can play reyna/raze and find more impact that way. something like icebox or split. i am happy with how corey entries though, it’s a breath of fresh air compared to wardell’s jett.

i’m hoping tsm takes the series. i’m basing that on my belief that larrybanks and flyuh will be exposed as mere ranked demons vs Tier 1 teams. wardell is a better player than dicey, despite losing to 100T (which was a better team) back in the day. i will say that shot_up could be a huge problem, man is fucking insane. like he could end up being the most cracked smoke player in NA.

because i could get “lucky” with a win streak and make it to plat in a day without improving one bit. or a plat could get “unlucky” and lose down to gold without getting worse at the game. it’s all the same really.

now, if you meant five “true gold players” with exactly “gold skill level” vs five “true plat players” with exactly “plat skill level” (however those are defined), then you would be right. but competitive valorant is too wack to support the theoretical.

in my humble opinion, silver to plat is all the same. i spend all my time in gold, and i’ve run into decent silvers and bottom frag plats in my lobbies. like genuinely open up the scoreboard and wonder how the enemy g3/p1 goes 5-14 in a gold lobby. it’s a swamp of mediocrity that only “good players” (aka diamond talent and above) can rise through.

if i was a betting person, i think i would make money from predicting Rise and T1 will qualify over V1, Akrew, and Gen.G on their side of the bracket.

but then again, i’m a tsm fan, so i really need to stop calling for the failure of others and prep myself for our own…

there’s an ez way around this, just go to forum index and choose general discussion. blocks out all the matches.

i checked daily for months until the first skin i wanted showed up. total pain in the ass, but rewarding i guess.
