i once figured out how to turn off the “HUD” with the health, crosshair, abilities, killfeed, etc. just played on a screen with no minimap, no idea when to reload, and no idea how many enemies left. interesting experience for sure

do it on your main, ya p**** lol

praise be to our righteous leaders forever! free from mistakes and defecation, they are!

i say this jokingly ofc, i enjoy what vlr has to offer.

seeing diamonds in mid gold reminds me why i’m waiting a week to place my main

definitely didn’t have anything to do with the odin-wall-bang, one-handed-showboating, postplant that he actually ended up losing

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH.

and just not play jett? the best agent in the game? so we get to see corey entry frag with sonic the fucking hedgehog aka neon? seems stupid af.

so yeah i could see tsm doing that.

posted about 2 years ago

steel and insane are not words to be used in the same sentence

posted about 2 years ago

it’ll be messy except for a clear tsm 2-0 all the way thru challengers. hell yeah, unbiased fan takes!

posted about 2 years ago

luckily neon is a dogshit agent who will get one-tapped in her ult in top tier play, so it doesn’t matter. she’s not overtaking reyna or raze as the second best duelist, and nobody is gonna play 3 duelists.

i know coaches, in NA at least, could stream games from last VCT. did they change up the rules for this one?
i’m actually looking forward to 2D map recaps over at spikedotgg. might have to check out the unstreamed TSM games.
as someone who’s unfamiliar w demo systems, would every game from qualifiers have a replay saved? or would that be too much?

posted about 2 years ago

comms in the agent select lobby are strange regardless

posted about 2 years ago

cascade is dumb. i main smokes or fill, what do i do if i pick first? lock duelist? lock smokes and hope somebody picks initiator/sentinel? just seems fucked to me.

wow followed closely by close one is also a favorite of mine

by continuing to add agents, valorant risks becoming a cesspool of overlapping abilities and roles. either let dead agents stay dead, or stop adding new agents. shit, i’d suggest removing dead agents from the game. you’ll only upset a few fringe agent “mains” in ranked. nobody needs a brim/omen or yoru/phoenix on their team. i never thought valorant would end up with as many agents as fucking super smash bros.

posted about 2 years ago

was this the game right before jasonR called him out?

edit: this was the game i think

no that’s not it dudes. ares still slow to carry, we may see more of it but never on attack 2nd round and mayyyybe 1/2 players buy it on defense. spectre will still easily be the go to

uninstall your hacks

posted about 2 years ago

who gives a fuck if those agents are balanced? it’s inherently impossible for all agents to be equally as strong.

RL is not meant to be taken seriously. Also “What a Save” is the only quick chat you need in that game. Works for any situation.

posted about 2 years ago

i’m guilty of doing it before, but 200 matches is wild. personally too busy for that.

posted about 2 years ago

cant trust scrims boys…
i’m more interested in agent comp tbh

posted about 2 years ago

6 biggest L streak, 7 biggest W streak that i remember. loss streaks are rare, win streaks of 5-6 are fairly common.

maybe cheats?

i question the decision to spend 200 games worth of your time “throwing on phoenix.”

if steel didn't play CSGO and wasn't old af then i wouldn't write him off so early in VAL. i wouldn't write off younger players like rossy or bang yet, for example.

squeakers have a tendency to squeal out ghost comms at the top of their voices. then again, games are still a learning experience for them.

posted about 2 years ago

i play 1080p on a 4k monitor for performance.

posted about 2 years ago

i’d rather give Rossy and other unknowns a chance to prove themselves rather than signing IGL’s like Steel/Hazed/ec1s who are clearly never going to cut it (no disrespect intended but we’ve seen their peaks). rossy could still be shit idk but i like the “prove it” signing.

nobody will play yoru unless his TP becomes instantaneous.

posted about 2 years ago

it’d be cool to see wardell against anybody internationally but homie can’t make a LAN smh.

posted about 2 years ago

they both saved to buy each other, builds better chemistry that way

posted about 2 years ago

you must have missed wardell and yay earlier, crazy good duo.

movement and jiggle peeking is nearly impossible on low FPS and laptops. ur kinda fucked until you upgrade, honestly impressed you made it this far on your setup. didn’t you say you played on a standard dell mouse?

posted about 2 years ago

he doesn’t seem like the type. he’s very quiet outside of whatever personality you see on stream.

also i wish he would save more, TSM’s success depends on him having an op every round possible. TSM hasn’t done a good job of managing saves/economy for him in the past.

posted about 2 years ago

i did it the other way lol, should prob be proud of iron 1 to gold 2 grind. first FPS game at 20 y/o. yay

posted about 2 years ago

solid stats for support. i think every support player should duo with a duelist. i typically duo with another support, which may be part of my problem. we can anchor both sites, but attack is more nuanced.

posted about 2 years ago

i’m using an LMG on defense with sova, so it makes sense if you look at it that way lol. other games are near 30% i think.

posted about 2 years ago

there’s no sugarcoating it, being short makes life tougher. eventually you’ll find a partner that doesn’t mind your height while checking off your own boxes.

until then, remember that being short makes it easier to fit in supercars.

posted about 2 years ago

i think i’ve match MVPed 5/6 of my duelist games, but i struggle to trust teammates to fill so i rarely instalock. it’s not like i’m THAT much better than other golds, but maybe i’ll start instalocking. cant be worse than your average 11-16 instalock lurking gold reyna.

I was gonna post this in "your last game" thread but didn't have access to my laptop due to holiday travel.
This is my match history.
This is my main account (several hundred games, NOT a smurf), peak Gold 2. 3 match MVP losses, 2 team MVP wins, and a meh Viper game.
This is a mix between a humble brag and a "look at how unlucky" moment, I guess. Thanks for looking lmao. Feel free to post your own if relevant.

Well, he did op-diff yay on both ABX and NV. He's been very consistent the past few tournaments, too. But (bias check), it's impossible to convince people he's the best until he has better teammates or a better system that facilitates more aggressive play from him.
