M8 will not be sold.
They are owned by huge content creators.
The only reason you might now know them is because they are a new org.

something like this i think
(if kc want to keep a francophone roster)

I feel like kc picking up just enzo is a bit of a waste of what apeks could be.
I would much rather a team pick up a core of the apeks players + staff.

"Overwatch League will be offering esports teams a $6 million termination fee if they do not agree with an upcoming operating agreement to continue the League or not"

An expected but a sad end to the league.
What once had great potential, the overwatch had been slowly bleeding out over the years.

They had some cool concepts and ideas which they were never able to implement due to covid and other factors.

Look at all the cancelled events.

Switching to youtube also did not help.

General issues:

  1. Scrim culture: Teams are too focused on winning scrims , instead of using the scrims to fix issues and test ideas.
  2. Scrim quality: Inability to scrim good teams outside of the region due to ping and other factors.
  3. Lack of mentors: There are a lack of good mentors in the scene to lead the next generation of players.
  4. Short term focused: Orgs want instead success instead of trying to build a long term project.

Mentality:

  1. Composure: many players suffer from a lack of composure and make plays/mistakes which they shouldn't do.
  2. Motivation: players aren't willing to put in the extra time and hours than other pros do.
  3. Effort: There are players who get pick up repeatedly despite being on failed project which allows them to not put the effort in required because they will likely to be picked up again

It's popular in EMEA.
The team that just got ascended, gentlemates, plays the same comp.
Also saw play it very well.

It's a good comp but GE couldn't execute it well.

Can't wait for it to be broken and randomly create a new meta which ruins half the rosters because no one planned that far ahead 🤩

-pancada
+Ayrin

Roles:
Duelist: tenz
Controller: marved
Sentinel: ayrin (igl)
Initiator: sacy
Flex: zekken

If a chamber meta reoccurs:
Chamber: tenz
Duelist: zekken
Scan: sacy
Flash: ayrin
Controller: marved

Double controller:
Controller 1: marved
Controller 2: ayrin
Scan: sacy
Flash: tenz
Duelist: zekken

(Otherwise just merge a roster with m80 and have johnqt igl)

Also knowing sentinels this probably won't work and Kaplan will be randomly kicked a month into the season

start spreading that krupium

posted about 2 years ago

Who would you replace him with then?
Because the latam + br sentinel pool is shallow.
Leviatan had first choice over all the latam players
And brazilian teams would get priority over the Brazilian players.

Also for every event he missed, he missed it by 1 game.
2022 Champs: Lost lcq final to Liquid
2022 Copenhagen: Lost upper finals to guild, lost lower bracket semi to fpx
2022 Reykjavik: Lost upper finals to fnc
2021 Reykjavik: Lost playoffs to fnc

Champs 2021.
He's made every grandfinal for every lan hes attended.

Of course having a core isn't going to guarantee you would be good, i never claimed that.
A core normally allows you to more easily introduce players into an already built system.

Sentinels are not you average "superteam".
You had an igl who only called defence sides during his peak and a player who struggled with english.
Couple that with a meta change which created role issues in the team.

Sentinels was always supposed to be a long term project.
Though I agree, it may never reach its potential due to some management decisions.

Bleed is also a possibility, it would make sense because team secret hasn't finished their season yet.

Otherwise it's a tier 2 team, which would be odd considering how early it is. Also this wouldn't allow tesseract to even try out for TS/Bleed

posted about 2 years ago

Cohesion, communication and team work is very important.
It's not surprising that most of the teams doing well this year have a long standing core.

posted about 2 years ago

I'm not sure.
Kru had the easiest run so far.
Mibr: with a sub
Furia: with a sub
Leviatan: a team that had collapsed towards the end of the season.

The game vs c9 today will really show us how strong kru are.
