Potter and co will break the curse.
Though they will probably bomb out in playoffs

not sure if he can jump back into t1 but i hope he gets some good trials.
he was unfortunate with the situation in china (visa and ping issues)

posted about 2 years ago

If we are being serious the t2 scenes are pretty similar in terms of strength.
Emea has looked the best imo but its hard to judge due to the sub regions being bottlenecked with the amount of teams they can send to the ascension tournament.

Epic Pen, i think.

hes been hated for far longer than that. (way before 2023)
its the fact that people who hated on him cant comprehend that he is actually a top 3 igl now

Keiko in the post match interview said he thought they (apeks) could be a top 4 team in emea

if you win ascension you deserve it.
the team is performing well, the org is good, the coaching staff is great.
I think they can hold their own.

Do you think any of the figures will ever become public?
im curious to see how much some players cost.

100t cryo? supposedly one of the most expensive transfers of the offseason.
OPTIC core?
Liquid sayf?

emea ascension fixing all the tech issues so emea lcq can run smoothly ๐Ÿ™

The coach is obviously a big part of it, though i think the coach and the igl should work in tandem.

I have watched haodong make some pretty good reads and calls, i really started to notice it at lock//in.
Despite edg losing to 100t, haodong made a number of good calls

posted about 2 years ago

no haodong is actually a pretty strong igl.

i highly doubt marved was dropped from faze due to performance reasons.

ange1 teams play way too loose and chaotic/undisciplined for me to rate him above boaster.
boostio has improved alot since the start of the season (watch some of the t sides at lock//in) but not anywhere near enough to warrant being above boaster especially with how lop-sided eg map pool is.

and peaked top 5

who are the 4 igls that are currently better than boaster??

posted about 2 years ago

why move starxo to controller? i would rather just keep him on flex
why not just pick up a good igl from t2?

you should build a team around an igl + coaching setup (imo)

Acend haven't look at their best.
I can see a apeks m8 final happening.

lost their superstar duelist
lost their igl

and the whole of emea has gotten better

its hard to replace players of that calibre + it takes time to implement the new players

posted about 2 years ago

This is actually pretty interesting, dephh has alot of experience.
Really hope m80 build a NA cs roster. oh theres already roster rumours

Chinese teams scrim like crazy from what i've heard.
Valorant and the way the circuit is set up does allow china to catch up quickly.

posted about 2 years ago

I would like to see m80 stay as a 5, if they did they would 100% ascend.

And if im being serious, with family and other obligations I wouldnt see nismo leaving NA any time soon.
It was more of a "fantasy idea" like "bleed zekken"

Siraphop looked good from what I saw at ascension.
kongared could be an option (from MiTH).

Theres alot of interesting choices from all around apac. It will be interesting to see what bleed pick

Saadhak, boaster and fns are top 3.
You can argue about the order but that is the top 3.

DOMINATED BY 1 TEAM:
LOTUS: FNATIC
FRACTURE: EG

NOT 100%
HAVEN: LOUD?
BIND: FNC
ASCENT: EG (currently)
PEARL: Lev (surprisingly)
SPLIT: FNC

Out of the 5 you listed Kimmy would probably be my preferred

Thoughts on riza?

if we are talking about imports..
nismo would be crazy but i fear there will be alot of competition for his signature

Sadly, it seems that nephh will most likely miss the 2024 VCT season due to military/national service.

Role: Role wise he primarily played Flash initiators (breach/kayo), also a bit of killjoy when Bleed were playing double duelist comps.

Replacement ideas?:

MY/SG: If bleed wants to keep a my/sg core

  1. jayh , a classic bleed move, previously played with the team as recently as split 1 of my/sg
  2. riza, a Malaysian initiator player. 6th highest rated player in split 2 (1.17r , data)
  3. redkoh (recommended by FDWC), a Singapore flex player. plays a very wide range of agents, performances could improve if allowed to focus on one role.

Pacific:

  1. yesican, Vietnamese initaitor/controller player. Allows the team to explore more double controller comps, highest rated player in pacific ascension. (language might be an issue)
  2. Gemma, Indonesian initiator player. More of a scan initiator player but has good numbers.
  3. tesseract, Filipino initiator. Some of the numbers are a bit skewed due to playing in SA however he performed well in a weak team at ascension.
  4. yoshii, Filipino initiator/flex. Covers the same roles as nephh including killjoy. Made the ascension finals with scarz.

Knowing bleed it will be very hard to predict who they would pickup but bleed will certainly have an interesting roster for 2024.

Who would you want bleed to pickup?

VCT GC 2023 WINNERS:

EMEA: BBL + G2
NA: V1 + SR
BRAZIL: TL
LATAM: KRU
SEA: SMG
EAST ASIA: DRX?

Overall winner? v1

not really risky predictions. east asia is hard because most of the competition hasnt started.
