Pretty decent roster considering the NA gc landscape, with most of the big players already locked in for the season.

Core of unstable-hannah-katarina who qualified for the astral clash
https://www.vlr.gg/event/1378/astral-clash-2023/virtual-qualifier-playoffs

katarina formerly of v1, hannah formerly of geng.

unstable has been grinding some of the gc cash cups and has made some decent runs.

nathn a player who has experience on sqn 2.0, a pretty legit t2/3 roster

misu is probably the biggest question mark.

Huijinyong is a good pickup as a coach. part of the oresports coaching setup and has gc experience.

Im going to keep a core from a subregion so the roster "in theory" could actually play 2024

EMEA:
Controller: kAdavra
Sentinel: Elite
initiator: YaBoiLewis (igl)
duelist: Jugi
Flex: iluri

(polaris core of lewis-jugi-iluri)

ninebody can play raze though
(cned raze is actually not as bad as people make it out to be)

scarz look defeated.

yeah most likely.
we had a "Mid season transfer window" this year but it was just after lock//in
lock//in replaced a split and a masters so if it follows the same timeline then teams should be able to

something evil brother.. nothing

to be fair its achillios and paperthin who actually cast some vct pacific games. (pretty sure they casted the pacific final)
though for the group stage komodo and conky (the oce boys) were really good

πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅ Scarz vs Bleed πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡¬
πŸ‡¨πŸ‡³ TYLOO vs EDG πŸ‡¨πŸ‡³
πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Guard vs M80 πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

Predictions?

I think:
Scarz 3-1 Bleed
Tyloo 1-3 EDG
Guard 2-3 M80

its a shame but its riot's own doing.
theres no point holding a roster when there is next to nothing to play for.

Chronic was only given this chance because two european players came over.
Though I think the roster shuffle after worlds will be good for NA, it seems like everyone is finally realising the damage of failing to promote bubble/new players has done.

its because they recycle the same old talent/friends over and over again.
happened in LoL and is happening in rocket league.

if they repeat these mistakes in valorant they are doomed to fail

this is what im thinking for 2023.

  1. South Korea

Nah.
Still top 2 cn.

I could see blg beating emea 5th seed or pacific 4th.

Not exactly a close game was it.

Now the question is will trace survive the lower bracket (probably not considering tyloo/edg will be down there)

the crazier thing is there are rumours of g2 merging with v1/rokkr.
which means either v1 or g2 gozens will be cut.

not too much point holding a roster with how the off season is shaping.
also might provide them the opportunity to make a deal with the guard (if they win ascension of course)

it hurts to go out like that but considering everything that has been happening to the scene, bonkers did well

OCE REGIONAL MATCHUPS:

INDONESIA: 0-5
MY/SG: 0-2
SA: 1-0
KR: 1-0
JP: 0-1
PH: 1-1
VN: 3-0

indonesia has our number.

0-5 versus indonesia.

atleast we aint get grouped though.

With the amount of talent going overseas and the lack of investment in the region. I can still be happy with what bonkers achieved.

There are some cool stuff you can do with the sonar darts.
Pretty good for post plants/preventing floods.

UNION/M80 also play sova here.

I like him alot.
Though hes just became rng's primary duelist (aak left?)
He's been performing very well since switching but I would want to see him play some top teams and maintain that level of output before moving him higher.

yuicaw i might move down. but i still think life is top 3 though going out so early in this recent tournament sucks.

If neither team wins the lcq I would expect both to make changes

posted about 2 years ago

Kai doesnt even start.
So 2/5th of the lineup is the same.
+Knight +Biank +Yosemite.
2 of the kone boys coming in is huge.
the spine of the roster is now different, i dont think you can use historical matchups to argue one team is better.

posted about 2 years ago

I mean this is a completely different blg lineup.
And this new blg lineup is alot stronger.
