ive thought about this before, id probably get some data from rib or vlr about the likelihood of a team winning a round, given they won the previous one. e.g. the chance of winning round two after winning pistol is much higher than winning round three after winning your anti-eco
of course round wins are mostly determined by the teams economy going into it so you may have to account for this

something else you could do is an investigation into the chances a team wins a map/ comes out positively in a half after winning one or both pistols

not sure what the IB course consists of but could do some sort of statistical test for significance if thats something youve studied

with the current amount of characters, pick bans will only decrease the level of play. valorant is a massively prep-heavy game where teams will practice specific combos and antistrat those combos
games like league where there are so many characters you can ban one and there will be another fairly similar one that plays the same don't suffer from this

i feel like even though astra and viper are both lurk, there is an important distinction that viper is wall smokes which allows her to solo maps like breeze and icebox which astra cannot effectively
even though she has global util she is more akin to harbour due to this, even if their playstyles aren't the same

i dont think its abt how clear it is the valorant lore is just really boring ibr
