I predict he will do well, but not light the world on fire in his first match. No higher than 1.07 rating, no higher than 220 ACS. He will beat the ranked farmer allegations

As many of us know, Primmie - the most hyped/anticipated prospect in the world right now - will be making his debut with Talon esports in the following match:

https://www.vlr.gg/365317/team-secret-vs-talon-esports-champions-tour-2024-pacific-stage-2-ko

https://www.vlr.gg/event/2005/champions-tour-2024-pacific-stage-2/playoffs (the overall playoff bracket, should they win that match)

Will he be god's gift? Will he be exposed? Believers, Doubters, Glazers, and Haters come together and put your predictions/comments about primmie's performance below, so that we may hold all parties accountable for their statements.

Honestly based on eye-test alone i think that Xanvlrt kid is better, if he's legit

My opinion

  1. Pancada 6-4 or 7-3, he don't miss a shot while Leo lost a 1v1 against an iron
  2. Reduxx 6-4 or 7-3, primmie is a shooter but i trust a guy who dominates a pro league over a guy who dominates ranked
  3. Mwzera 6-4, he's got that weirdo movement and his aim is just as good or better
  4. Tdawgg 7-3, Dr pepper man owns that fossil
  5. 5-5 draw maybe slight edge icy tho
  6. Ethan 6-4, better spray control
  7. Carpe 6-4 or 7-3, Overwatch diff
  8. Sinatraa 7-3, washed duelist aim > washed senti aim
  9. Foxy9 6-4, tough call but could also have been either way
  10. 5-5 draw idk whether to go with shaky bullshit or crouch spray merchant
  11. 5-5 draw
  12. Tenz 6-4 or 7-3, gotta go with my king
  13. Derrek 7-3, he's too fast for mindfreak
  14. Zekken 6-4, alfa is fast but zekken is more accurate imo and i gotta go with the guy who gave GENG 100+
  15. 5-5 draw, tough call
  16. eeui 6-4 he's too crispy
  17. Heat 7-3 i can't explain it i just trust him more
  18. Stax 8-2 my short king is a shooter
  19. 5-5 draw, tough call slight edge havoc tho
  20. Xeppaa 6-4 or 7-3
  21. Crashies 7-3

both would lose

LOL

Same rules as last time:
Rifle on Ascent Mid, all matches are 10 rounds whats the final score

  2. Primmie vs Reduxx (Since yall thought geeza was a mismatch, personally i thought it was pretty fair)
  3. Mwzera vs Miniboo
  4. Tdawgg vs Ange1
  5. Icy vs Ardiss
  6. Ethan vs Governor
  7. Carpe vs Tuyz
  8. Inspire/Babyj vs Sinatraa
  9. Foxy9 vs Caunzin
  10. Benjyfishy vs Derke
  11. Victor vs Autumn
  12. TenZ vs S0m
  13. Mindfreak vs Derrek
  14. Alfajer vs Zekken
  15. Jammpi vs Monyet
  16. Hiro vs eeiu
  17. Heat vs Atakaptan
  18. Boo vs Stax
  19. Havoc vs F1tinho

Edit : PUT THE SCORE NOT JUST WHO WINS

of ranked demons

Primmie, Geeza, Canezerra, Curry (if he counts, idk), Demon1 (if he counts, idk)

of pro's

Rifling - Less, Aspas, Meteor, Texture, Zekken, Tenz, Scream, Sayf, Something, Jingg, Oxy, Riens, Alfajer, Keznit

Oping - Aspas, Something, Texture, Oxy, Cned, Cryo

Combined (Stand out in both of the above) - Aspas, Something, Texture, Oxy

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So those four above are probably the elite mechanical players in val atm

if you're not a peripheral nerd just go with the superlight, if you are, then you don't need this thread

  1. Boaster
"We're gonna win all three this year"
"The level of play wasn't very high in madrid, based off scrims we would win"
"We only lost because of Loud"

Loud throwing a mickey mouse tourney and getting dragged along by Leo and Alfajer at tokyo (something wasn't attending) got this guy thinking he's a legend.

Has BY FAR the highest Pride-to- Actual Skill Ratio in all of franchising

  1. Inspire/BabyJ
    You know why

  2. Crashies/Victor
They seem to think some sort of special rule applies to them where they can just decide who they're gonna play with, as if they're proven goods in this day and age

  3. Suygetsu
Maybe if Navi shot bodies during the round they wouldn't be where they are

posted about a year ago

so you're saying Primmie would win because he's destroying mfs in ranked, while geeza is like curry who's... "top tier" (destroying mfs) in ranked?

I'm having trouble following the reasoning

posted about a year ago

What a dumb comment...

if this was about career accomplishments: geeza >>>>>> primmie and it's not up for debate

But it's not, it's about a theoretical aim duel between two notorious ranked demons, so being on C9 acad - which is objectively more prestigious than any team primmie has been on - is irrelevant.

unfortunately white-coat Shahzam at the walkout will always be the coldest moment in val history

posted about a year ago

nah brudda Less clears everybody in the world in rifling, it looks like his crosshair is magnetically attracted to their heads, and that's when they're not running into his unbelievable crosshair placement.

Also, I can't find it but there's some Alfajer clip somewhere out there where he says something like "All I know is that he (Less) is better than me".

On top of that Less gapped him all three times they met

1.20 vs 0.97 https://www.vlr.gg/167393/loud-vs-fnatic-champions-tour-2023-lock-in-s-o-paulo-gf
1.23 vs 1.06 https://www.vlr.gg/248270/fnatic-vs-loud-valorant-champions-2023-playoffs-ubqf

We officially need to slow our roll on primmie

okay all three 9-1's are crazy

posted about a year ago

unironically when i was making this i was thinking of who would be a good matchup for less in an aim duel and i couldn't think of anyone lmao

posted about a year ago

okay yall underestimating geeza, he's legit better than alot of the dudes in Challengers rn(he would be in it forsure if he wasn't just playing collegiate for that scholarship money), and aim-wise he's been terrorizing NA ranked for years. You can go with primmie but 10-0 is crazy

My opinion

  1. Aspas 6-4 or 7-3, movement diff
  2. Cryo 7-3
  3. Sayf 6-4, better crosshair placement
  4. 5-5, idk
  5. C0m 7-3, they both crouch spray but C0m controls it better
  6. Nismo 6-4, he's a little crispier
  7. Sayaplayer 6-4, he's faster
  8. Kingg 6-4 or 7-3 he's more accurate
  9. Jingg 7-3 he's been swinging the best in the world like a maniac for years and making it look easy
  10. Oxy 6-4 or 7-3 dat boy cold
  11. Primmie 6-4, geeza whiffs once and primmie takes it
  12. Either 5-5 or 6-4 idk
  13. Davai 7-3, Nats not as tuff when people are actually facing him and don't have their back turned
  14. Either 5-5 or 6-4 idk

inspired by my own previous thread - https://www.vlr.gg/371513/aspas-vs-something

  1. Aspas vs Something
  2. Cryo vs Suygetsu
  3. Sayf vs Woot

  5. FNS vs C0m
  6. NiSMO vs JonahP

You obviously don't need to respond to all (it would be cool if ya did tho) just whichever ones you find interesting

Now that you're here and i got your attention, is Oxy the biggest one-man army in VCT? you can argue he's the only franchise-worthy player on his entire team. Who else is in this category? only ones i can think of are Cloud and Nats

  1. Jawgemo - It's not even up for debate, this guy even plays Omen and Deadlock like it's Raze. Futhermore, nobody else in the world is capable of playing Raze quite like Jaw does it, and the result speaks for itself.
  2. Jingg - A true master of the agent.
  3. Aspas - No surprise that the greatest duelist ever is also undoubtedly fantastic at raze, culminating with an iconic performance where he dropped 47 kills - a VCT record - on raze against a team fresh off winning a masters.
  4. Zekken - Led a team to a trophy on the back of his superb raze - his best agent - dropping a record 101 kills in a grand finals in the process. Additionally, with more time he will most likely end up even higher on this list.
  5. T3xture - With a Raze that is equally as fearsome as his Jett, and a trophy to prove it.
