I wish if they removed clove from the game. Reyna too ideally, but I’d rather clove gets gone first. Or at least severely reworked
I’m assuming you’re saying this because of the grand finals vs th? The thing about derke is he always has 2-3 games a tourney where he goes like 40-20 or 70-40 and then 2-3 games where he’s even or slightly negative. Kaajak is consistently good whearas derke fluctuates between good/avg and the best player in the world by far.
That would be insane, but I don’t know how op it would actually be. It’s the cooldowns that’s the issue with astra more than running out of stars.
Kaajak is more consistent whereas derke has higher peaks. Derke is more a hard entry and Kaajak is more of a traditional star player. They are both very good players, and I think Kaajak will come to be regarded as or nearly as highly in the coming years imo.
Idk tho, we don’t really have old skye to run with the double controller. Gekko and Kayo are kind of mid replacements
Vyse is really strong, as is double initiator and double duelist. Not everyone will run double controller even if it is op
Reduce cooldown on astra stars when recalled, or buff ult duration, or maybe decrease the cooldown on duck/stun maybe?
The other problem, is, even if you nerf him unless you nuke his blind, he will always be picked. A suck or a stun that gives you a cooldown on your smokes as well, or a stim/molly and no rechargeable smokes will always be worse than a good omen blind. If they nuke his blind, omen will just be dogshit, not balanced.
Does he really? People just pick him because the other controllers simply don’t get enough value to be absolutely necessary on most maps, than specifically because of omen, other than on specific maps where his blind and tps get a lot of value (ascent, lotus). Also, having a controller than has blinds and a to encouraging team fights and aggressive controller plays is a good thing and healthy for the state of the game, unlike an agent like tejo
I don’t think agents should be nerfed due to high pick rate unless they are oppressive or overpowered. Omens blind simply gets more value than astra’s global utility and 5 stars (due to cooldown), and brim’s 3 smokes at once gimmick is useful on only 2 maps in the game. Harbor is downright useless unless on icebox. So buff them instead of nerfing omen
Omen is very commonly picked, but he doesn’t feel oppressive or overpowered, so instead of nerfing him, buff harbor (viper harbor comps would cause a drop in omen pick rate). An astra or brim buff (2stim beacons and some cooldown changes, maybe on recalled stars), and omen is completely balanced and will only be played on maps where the blind is too op (like ascent/lotus (tps), and haven (though astra will too, as will harbor viper)
Nearly every single pro that is a fragger in pro play has 1.3 KD + in ranked, with exceptions like texture who play a very different style in ranked vs pro play. If your going off win percentage in ranked, that doesn’t really matter or translate, but all the fragged are good in ranked
He’s a better duelist than Alfa imo, tho Alfa might be a better raze
Insane that you had two op gods drop 100+ which cost both bo5s
Low key woulda won tho if niesow played all the maps instead of being subbed
BLD vs GE, yay on top yellow on icebox missing the easiest shot in the world with his operator. That’s when I realized how washed my goat was, who always hit every single easy shot in his prime and could have hit that shot blind, stunned, and tethered in 2022. He proceeded to go 6-19 on viper in the next map.
Tejo drone and suppress and missiles are annoying for chamber. Gekko flash can’t be turned, for an example.
Should riot buff chamber? Having a chamber player makes op ping more prevalent and helps build superstars (cryo, ardiis, less, yay, buzz, derke etc) which makes the pro scene more exciting. Prime chamber won’t be nearly as annoying now days because we have way more initiators and more powerful initiators to deal with oppers/chamber.
After chamber nerf, opping was still common but now it’s barely used due to all the new ways people use them initiators and the new initiators that were added.
I’m curious what fns’s stats in grand finals are now
Ik he’s an igl and and calling in a grand finals is usually calling the hardest match of the tournament, but here’s his personal stats across 5 grand finals (TH are 0-5 in grand finals).
He avgs 0.78 rating and 0.73 KD (243 kills to 333 deaths)
Shao on vyse instead of fade 😭 because angel can only play smokes and init
Also just being on the right team during the right time. There’s a reason why certain teams win during a meta then fall off after because the meta suits their players agent pools.
I agree. Tenz is on top 10 OAT, derke chron Leo and Alfa are all arguably top 10, and boaster is a goat igl. But sacy who was multiple trophies I wouldn’t consider top 10 all time, even though he was a top 5 player in 2022. Individual performance matters as well as trophies. However trophies mostly matter because it proves you can do it against the best teams itw.
It’s just funny seeing people add “skill” to trophy winners
Like a player could be criticized super heavily or thought of as holding the team back the entire run up to grand finals , wins a trophy and suddenly they clear everyone else in the role and they are actually impactful/underrated
I notice a lot of people conflate trophies with individual skill. They put people that they would never even consider on the goat list into it the second they win a trophy. Every time a team wins a trophy, they assume all of the players are the best at their roles. An avg player wins a trophy and for years they insist they are a top player even if they underperform because they won a trophy, and people are shocked at their underperformance despite them being individually average before the trophy run.
This isn’t a fighting game or an arena shooter or any 1v1 game. You don’t need to be the best in ur role to a win a trophy, you just need to be decent/good and on the right team at the right time. There are players who may never win a trophy that clear like half the winners that exist.
The most impressive part is you actually know all the names
All Ik is My vandal is the Godzilla one with spikes
Let’s put meteor on tejo then get rid of our best support player, what’s t1 cooking
Surely the non tejo meta is best for the og roster
His team won like 18 rounds in 2 matches
I’m not saying he didn’t play bad but when you get stomped that badly and the sample size is only 2 matches it’s not as people pretend it is
If chronicles team got shit on hard they only got 18 rounds in 4 maps, he prolly wouldn’t look great either
Yeah that’s fair I really thought that last ascension was for sure m80’s moment finally
Kinda sad for Nismo all the other insane m80 players got picked up
Beat tgrd every single time except when it actually mattered 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Nah Eeiu choked and koala got diffed by Tex 😂
Why u Just hating for no reason brotha
That would have been a fire move honestly
Leafs low key been losing weight I been noticing
I had a weird claw grip for a while when my ring and pinky went over the front of my mouse and pushed it into my palm, it felt super snappy but a bit inconsistent
Now I just use regular claw
It’s cause he uses fingertip grip so he prolly got really used to a super high sensitivity. He’d prolly feel incredibly uncomfortable on low sense since he only really uses his wrist when looking around. Prolly barely uses his actual wrist for the aiming movements. But yeah you can definitely tell the drawbacks when he’s nervous, he’s very shaky
Difference is fnc players were actually top of their role for multiple years/seasons, chron being that before even joining fnc
Victor was always inconsistent, marved fell off hard after optic. I say this as a optic fan, optic/nrg were known for beating teams with more firepower (with the exception of yay)
I think smth sprays a lot at close range too, but yeah he strafes a lot more at long ranges
He tends to land his first burst a lot so it’s hard to tell, similar thing with primmie as well
Speaking of good movement, I’ve always felt like Zander has fantastic movement mid gunfight
Tbf they tend to be fairly stationary in gunfights and something struggles a bit more on rifles
I think part of it is they both crazy fast reaction time so they always have time to readjust even if their first bullet is off
Something is just a freak of nature tho his first shot accuracy on line 600 edpi is nuts
Makes sense that you move a lot in gunfights then
Have you tried high sense might make readjusting easier or at least more fun since you don’t prioritize first burst anyways
Fnc + nats is only goat list. Then you also half people like comeback, Kaajak, larok, sayonara, umu7, globex for upcoming talent, people like Suygetsu, Shao, keiko, cloud, sheydoes, all stick on shitty teams (minus keiko)
Would you say your more snappy or calm with rifles
Nah that is cap, Emea got like half the insane rookies/goat list players, if anything, talent is the one thing y’all aren’t lacking
Yeah that sucks, but generally they are extremely loud. Seoul was also very loud especially in finals, a masters in busan or incheon would go hard too
Definitely, but on most rifle fights which do you prefer?
I want a masters in china as well hopefully, I remember Shanghai crowd being great, especially in lower finals.
How tf do you use a black cross in cs bro you must have fantastic vision
I notice a lot of people either are fairly stationary in gun fights and focus on aim, or are a-d spamming focusing on movement (for an example, derke vs Aspas). Which style do y’all prefer?
Use left hand view model, black 1-4-2-0, blue prelude and upgraded prime karambit as well
