Obviously orgs will want players to work hard and it's their job. But do you think ewc is as big or as prestigious as official master events in val? I just think the format, scheduling and qualifiers bring the level of ewc down quite a bit for it to be as prestigious as masters.

Like the scheduling is so ass for ewc rn. It will happen during stage 2 for vct china and will end like only 2 day earlier than apac. So can bring problems for many teams involved.

If yes then I think main reason it's mickey mouse is cause of it's schedule. Like edg has to play a game in 5th July in vct china split 2 and then travel to Saudi to play in ewc which starts like 5 days later in July 8. Also I hate the single elimination format for playoffs.
Also the event ends on July 13 and apac starts 2 days later lol.

Geng and sen or other early eliminated teams in Toronto are the favorites I think. They have got some game experience and have some time too before ewc. loser of g2 v fnc is a heavy favorite too.

It's hard to play against geng comp without some flash I think. Geng relies heavily on texture awp and fnatic playstyle rn is also making it extra hard for them.
