Mainly their sheriff buy is also so strong. More team will copy that for sure.

posted 2 months ago

Also geng had the vod on prx icebox from their game against th. Geng completely anti strated prx in icebox.

posted 2 months ago

Teams nowadays are just too good at snowballing. So pistol rounds are insanely important.

posted 2 months ago

They completely read the whole icebox of prx from yesterday's game.

posted 2 months ago

They are 8-0 in pistol rounds rn. Pistol rounds gonna be the most important metric to determine Toronto winner this time.

posted 2 months ago

Nah some of you apac fans are actually underestimating other teams in playoffs.

posted 2 months ago

Nah Shanghai and this are so much more different. This is also more stacked I will say in playoffs.

posted 2 months ago

Lol bro thinks people can actually not think by themselves.

posted 2 months ago

G2 does have really big advantage. They also got lot of time before this event as Americas ended very early. Also g2 didn't have to play ewc qualifiers as well.

posted 2 months ago

I actually still think no swiss team is winning this event not even geng or th if they are back in their best form.
This event has like completely diff meta and every team in swiss has shown a lot already.
Also playoffs team have big advantage of time for prep and anti.

posted 2 months ago

I think heretics will actually make a comeback. Tbh EMEA has whole got fucked by riot scheduling.

posted 2 months ago

Bro is popping off cause he knows it's probably his last year in val. Bro wants both master and champs.

posted 2 months ago

Lol true embarrassing how the biggest eSports is just a competition between like 4-5 teams from china and Korea. It's a miracle the esports isn't dead yet.

posted 2 months ago

It was the same last year too. It's their pistols. Best way to win against them is by winning pistols. With how snowball val can get pistol rounds are too important nowadays. Madrid upper finals and grand finals last year are prime example of that.

posted 2 months ago

Ethnically asian*. Don't be like those indians in internet who claim success of indians who have gained success in west but are just Indian ethnically.

posted 2 months ago

Prx are actually so good and fun to watch as well. Edg and prx gotta be my top 2 most fun teams to watch.

posted 2 months ago

Yeah 0 pistol round too and lost one bonus round too.

posted 2 months ago

How did they make it that close lol especially with that comp? And they lost both pistols and a bonus round as well. And they lost last round against a low buy.

posted 2 months ago

this prx comp is still so ass. Like too hard to win in attack with raze.

posted 2 months ago

Nah they ain't winning Toronto. But again it would be good if munchkin got another win as it's probably his last year in val.

posted 2 months ago

-lysoar and -knight. Too much chances given already to these guys. It's not even like experience problem. they are literally holding back their teams. Removing them will instantly make blg and wolves 2x better.

Also isn't it embarrassing that in 2025 Chinese teams still lack discipline and fundamentals?

posted 2 months ago

See such bad discipline and fundamentals even after playing for so many years.

posted 2 months ago

Cause at this level even if it's china you would expect them to have good utility as that's literally like the most important aspect of valo. We have seen their mechanical skills already. But their utility usage and team play is so poor. And blg is like one of the most experienced cn team.

posted 2 months ago

Utility usage is so poor bruh. How is their fundamentals still so bad? Like has nephh never played kayo before this game? Difference in utility usage is so big between cn and other regions. Make sense edg won champs when they had like Simon and really good utility team plays.

posted 2 months ago

Prx fans are some of the most loyal lol. In apac most geng fans for sure are bandwagoners.

posted 2 months ago

Are some of you guys actually just trolling are are you guys just that dumb?

posted 2 months ago

You guys need to read the whole sentence lol.

posted 2 months ago

And val eSports or eSports is more relevant somehow?

posted 2 months ago

One region domination will always bore people eventually at one point. But that doesn't seem to be the case in val yet. So that's good for the scene

posted 2 months ago

It's fine. I was just joking. Would love to see nrg do well in ewc.

posted 2 months ago

Damm so not gonna see you support nrg from now on? Or is it just for this event?

posted 2 months ago

I mean EMEA also had like the biggest disadvantage of time in this event compared to other regions.

posted 2 months ago

No way you are actually a bandwagoner. You literally had nrg flair before the geng game lol. Make sense tbh. Being a nrg fans is hard.

posted 2 months ago

I am not aspas fan and I find duelist players overrated but I have to say that duelist performance depends a lot on their team. They will look extremely well or insanely ass depending on their team's overall performance. I mean I don't think texture or any other duelist would have done much against this geng if they played with mibr today. Mibr just looked so lost and was completely read as well. Their prep with how much time they had looked so bad.

posted 2 months ago

Don't you watch league? You don't know how annoying and toxic asian fans can be lol.

posted 2 months ago

Tbh EMEA got done dirty with that scheduling. They are at great disadvantage compared to other regions especially the teams other than fnatic. Fnc got bit more time as they skip the swiss stage. And tl unlucky with nats visa.

posted 2 months ago

Th I am sure will look better but mibr overall just looked really bad. I don't understand what they did with all that time they had before this event.

posted 2 months ago

And t1 was nowhere near the level of their Bangkok form

posted 2 months ago

Valyn, jhonqt are up there too. Probably top 3 fragging igls rn.

posted 2 months ago

G2 has very big advantage of time and vods to study. And every other playoffs team too. Rrq might surprise everyone with how apac looks so far.

posted 2 months ago

Like geng sunset comp for example. Geng cooked so hard with that comp.

posted 2 months ago

They had so much time for Toronto. They apparently didn't even try for ewc too. But man the prep and gameplan for them so far has looked so poor. I do think geng read and comp also are one of the major reasons mibr is getting outplayed. But man mibr overall has looked really poor. It's like they are just playing standard things. Not seeing new ideas or creative changes.

posted 2 months ago

Yeah big igl diff rn. Also geng comps diff mibr too.

posted 2 months ago

Rrq has that time and vods advantage. Geng is looking this great cause it's their first game they are showing their comps and strats. Swiss stage teams are at big disadvantage.

posted 2 months ago

I don't know about that tbh. It's just one map and mibr doesn't look good either.

posted 2 months ago

Both. Also I think mibr is getting outplayed cause they have no experience against these comps from geng. Also big igl diff too. Geng has so much read on mibr.

posted 2 months ago

Problem for these swiss stage teams is lot of their strats will be revealed and this time there are many insanely strong teams in playoffs already.

posted 2 months ago

Brazil has one champs too in val. Lol stop living in past for Cs.

posted 2 months ago

I actually don't see any team from group stage winning the event. Top 4 maybe but not winners. This event is a bit too stacked.

posted 2 months ago

Their game plan for this map doesn't even look good. Why would they pick this map lol?
