its weird that a 100% logical statement "Spreading talent across multiple teams makes the overall quality of the teams lower" would start an argument.
you have 20 WORLD CLASS CHAMPIONSHIP CALIBER players and you spread them across 30-35 slots.
we dont just want low end t1 players because they "Deserve t1"
we want ELITE players capable of winning trophies.
its insane to think that all the players on those teams deserve to be in t1
what's even more absurd is to think that any of those teams would win an international event.
the goal isnt to have "the most competitive region"
the goal is to win international tournaments.
NA realistically has enough talent to field MAYBE 3 teams that are capable of winning tournaments.
having 6 teams to spread the ELITE talent only makes it less likely a team will win what matters.
