Overwatch is still pretty huge in Korea and Asian countries. In NA not so much as most of the players here are Korean nowadays. Cant say the same for Europe because I don’t know. But OW is more popular in Korea than Valorant is.

Yeah can be reasons for that. If I watch the main stream I normally mute it because the casters just seem lost all the time. They just aren’t good but good casters they have they don’t bring.

posted about 2 years ago

They are overhyped. Just asking for subs all the time. But the same time watch parties are the main way this game gets views. I think partly to do with the casters for Valorant are pretty ass.

Well I think the original situation is blown completely out of proportion but this situation is just weird. Just trying to make them super uncomfortable now.

Hopefully it’s a mcu show that stays good the whole season. Pretty much every Mcu show starts out good but falls off mid way through or towards the end.

The Ms. Marvel show looks pretty bad though imo

Spiderman villain however heard mixed things about the movie so who knows

Indeed true but you are talking about India vs a country/region with an established pro scene. I just think there are overall better us pros than ca.

posted about 2 years ago

Well USA technically should because they have a bigger population = more talent theoretically.

More people live in California than my entire country.

There are moose in the states too…

Yes and no.
Na has always held themselves back because the region has scuffed mindsets. Players cared more about their egos and reputations rather than focusing on winning. Plenty of na players individually who could have been Good t1 pros. Until that changes I don’t see consistent success. It’s more of a problem in na Val now instead of Cs.

I think the different cultural stuff between na vs other regions could be some reasons as well. I know here in NA, things like internet cafes and so on are unheard of but are everywhere in Europe. Kids like m0nsey been playing Cs since however young and hit lvl 10 at 12. I didn’t play my first real pc game till late 2016. We live in a very console dominant region and that’s mainly what I played growing up.

There is Indeed more support for the Asia scene in Valorant but I don’t know how much of a difference it will make. In example in CS, countries like Korea never were interested in the game for various reasons. Was always a very small scene. China has always had a big casual scene but small pro scene. Although Cs was big in china, games like crossfire were even bigger.

Cs doesn’t have a stagnant meta but regions like EU were always a step ahead of other regions just due to mindsets. Imagine how much better the NA scene could have been in Cs if more players put winning over egos and reputations rather than the 15-20 or so players that did.

posted about 2 years ago

Riot may want the scene to be more competitive and cater to Asia but it will only happen if the teams and players get better (certainly can happen). EU is just different when it comes to pro scenes in games. For example I don’t see NA being number 1 till the scene has a mentality change. That is the thing that has held back NA in almost every game. EU is successful because they treat it like a 9-5 job or how athletes treat their career. Things like metas can play into it as well.

He is the most flexible and consistent player on that team and in NA.

Same my friend

Simpler times miss those days. Sad how toxic and shit the community became but it’s dead now. I saw where the community was going and quit before it went rock bottom.

Never forget. Kohi means Coffee in Japanese.

How would he considered the best player without playing any international events lol

posted about 2 years ago

Cant full time stream and also be a full time pro. Just will never work if you want consistent success.

Playing pugs is no where close to playing an actual match lol

It was their peak and then the start of the downfall.

Is your name kohi because you played kohi?

“IT IS THE SENTINELS ERA”
Hahaha

They should just say they going to full time streaming.

I don't use the site much anymore so I wouldn't know. Valorant got pretty meh for me so I don't follow much anymore. Check whats new every few days and that's it.

You’re being ignorant right now? Would say it’s pretty true. But thank you my ikea friend.

Gotta give this site some life.

Not going to call people poor if I don’t know them or know if it’s true. I was just giving out an example. But thanks for clarifying. I’m just saying to assume the average person in the US is dumb is a dumb statement.

posted about 2 years ago

It’s not a thing that is often taught unless it’s history. It’s dumb just to assume the average person knows where everything is geographically if they were never taught it lol.

posted about 2 years ago

Europeans you see on the internet are typically very ignorant and dumb.

It’s not that deep.

posted about 2 years ago

you can believe that is true all you want but that doesn’t mean it’s true lol.

If I were to say the average Brazilian is poor does that make it true? Even it was true it still doesn’t make it right.

posted about 2 years ago

How is it true though? Have you been or lived in the states to know that’s true?

posted about 2 years ago

Who cares if he doesn’t know where every country is.

Besides what is the context?

Overused tbh

It is ironic considering sentinels fans were the ones talking the most shit though.

CS had to go through the whole CGS situation which literally killed CS especially NA.

posted about 2 years ago

CS is a little different from League. NA CS got cucked pretty hard by covid. Making a bubble in EU and taking away all tournaments and events not just in NA but every region besides EU. Orgs left because only way for their players to make money is getting them to Europe. Why a lot of people switched to Valorant because that is where the money was but now the scene is oversaturated in NA Val. Don't know why NA League turned out to just being European/Asian imports but if you want to inform me I'm all ears.

I think another thing with NA Cs and just NA in general is the mindsets. Players tend to care more about their money, egos and reputations over winning. Saw this all the time with NA Cs and now you see in NA Val. Players seem to put more focus on streaming and what not over being pro seems like. Like in EU, the pros treat their job like a 9-5. Streaming here and there. NA Val some pros be streaming full time. You can't stream full time and also be a pro. Just will never find success or consistent success.
