Be realistic dude lol. Don’t forget CS has a massive Chinese following.

I get Japan loves Valorant and they have a big following but they would still need Korea and China. Korea still seems to be more interested in OW and League over Val.

It’s a trend game. That’s the problem imo. It reminds me a lot of Fortnite in 2018-2019.

Unfortunately Valorant relies on watch parties. But I’m sure the grand finals will do well.

posted about a year ago

Wonder why they put all 3 European teams in the same group and then the 2 NA teams in the same group. Should have switched one for one imo.

Because it’s the Valorant community

I doubt he ever will tbh. He enjoys streaming and makes a retarded amount of money from it. He did say awhile back if he were to go pro again it would be in CS. Whether it be true or not the world will never know.

The day agent bans come out lol.

Attention grab for content. Good for viewership but I assume there were better options.

EU has 7 competitive teams that can all win where NA has 1 lol. Just because a team from a region wins an event doesn’t mean they are the best. Gotta win multiple in a row. It’s not like if Brazil won we would be saying the same thing either lol.

As someone from NA the delusional NA fanbase always makes a good time.

posted about a year ago

Someone with a brain. NA wins one event and they all think they are the best region. We have to win multiple events in a row to be able to claim that. The fact that EU only were allowed to bring one full roster explains enough. EU region as a whole has better and more competitive teams where NA has only two realistically.

posted about a year ago

EMEA is stronger. I think if certain teams that qualified were allowed to bring their actual roster it would have been different. Don’t know why people think if one team wins an event that makes them the best region. It’s like people saying “oh Cloud9 won an event they are the best team in the world.” You gotta win multiple events in a row to get the #1 ranking.

posted about a year ago

EMEA is a bit stronger? Dude EMEA is a lot stronger imo. The amount of competitive teams in Europe vs NA aren’t even close. NA has shown two teams that are consistent. Optic is the only one that I’m impressed by. EU has at least 7 teams that can win an event. I’m not trying to take away what Optic won but I think the event would have been different if more than just one team could bring their full roster. If Gambit qualified they wouldn’t even been able to come lol.

They should get the Indian casters

Are you really surprised though? Have you seen the Valorant community lol. Met more degens on this game at least here in NA then any other game.

Man it’s not that deep lol.

What Twistzz said wasn’t even wrong. People are mad because it’s true. It’s not a bad take at all. It’s 100% true that NA cs pros were switching because it was easy money because it is. Players knew they would get signed due to their former status in CS. That’s exactly what happened anyway. Skadoodle was literally out of the pro scene for 2 years and got signed lol. It’s not a bad thing. It’s just what the truth is. I get people have to pay bills and stuff. Mainly this applies to the older people not younger but I get that part of it. But there were plenty of orgs in the NA cs scene and they left when players and teams failed to produce results time and time again. Players cared more about their egos and reputations over winning. It’s why there was never consistent success with the scene. You already see the same problems in NA VAL. Not to mention the bubble NA CS created within their own scene. You can’t be a pro and also full time stream. It’s just a scuffed NA mindset in general.

Sports have been having crowds since 2020. No problems there. CS and other games have been having crowds since last year. No problems there.

Time to wake up and move on.

posted about a year ago

Yeah I figured that as well but I had a friend who had a very similar last name.
Van Duyn and he told me his family was British. I just took his word. But I should have just assumed it was Dutch with Van.

posted about a year ago

Shittest takes? On what lol
Think you’re just upset my friend. I’ll gladly take Twistzz along with the majority of NA.

posted about a year ago

Haha a little. Both have crazy hairstyles as in messy. I remember when Twistzz had like a clean cut but the messy hair suits him. Same height as well I think.

Just one happens to be white and Asian and the other one is just white. Pretty sure Van Dulken is a British/Irish last name. Ngo is Vietnamese.

posted about a year ago

We shall see. Never know with Riot tbh. Considering there are only 3 major events a year. You would expect they would have crowds. Was surprised Iceland didn’t but at the same time more people live on my island then the entire country of Iceland.

posted about a year ago

Well if we are talking about overall skill. Elige or Twistzz are the best to come out of NA. Some others can be mentioned but yeah.

Success wise Stewie has been the most successful and he is a good player as well. Maybe Twistzz now with the Major win. Either way they both will go down as legends.

posted about a year ago

Might not be as slow as R6 but it’s still slow lol or can be. Besides it’s just the matter of fact of kids nowadays have the attention span of a walnut. I personally don’t mind watching a round play out but that’s just me.

posted about a year ago

Don’t get the MDL throwers back in their roots.

posted about a year ago

Most successful player I think would be Stewie but idk about overall skill. Twistzz and Elige are up there. I don’t know much about other games like League or Dota so can’t speak much from there.

posted about a year ago

Didn’t miss anything just a bunch of similarities. Twistzz is like the OG insane aimer of NA. Twistzz has a lifetime HS rate of 66% or something. Both are insane mechanically and both are Canadian. Ironically enough both are from the same part of Canada.

They are being compared for whatever reason. Close in age as well. Just one is more successful.

posted about a year ago

Both from British Columbia
Both insane aimers
Coincidence I think not

posted about a year ago

Still don’t know why Valorant hasn’t had a crowd yet. Crowd adds so much to the game and the experience. Riot may have cool stages but they are really lacking on everything else.

Twistzz repping NA making us proud
the part time coach they had there as well was American
Wins for NA

posted about a year ago

It’s an under appreciated game. Skill gap is high and map awareness in that game is another level. It is sort of like Valorant where it can be hard to watch and can be slow. Good game and They used to have a decent crowd for their events.

Cant blame Xeppaa tbh

Yeah has a point there. No one did Watch Parties for CS till last year. This thread was created when the stream just started. He has almost 60k rn. You do watch parties if you want to interact with the streamers reactions. But with CS all the casters are so good. If you don’t care about the interactions you just watch the main streams.

He has 50k rn

Roster stability in Valorant haha

posted about a year ago

Think Faze is the team to beat atm tbh
I wanted to see what viewership Imperial vs Navi would get if they played each other. Gaules was getting over 570k for all the imperial matches.

posted about a year ago

Definitely an unpopular opinion. Dude can’t be considered a goat if he’s never even played internationally yet.

posted about a year ago

Dude what has tenz done since Iceland of last year?

posted about a year ago

He had like 418k at the peak.
I have a feeling Furia will do well so Furia vs Navi could be insane.

posted about a year ago

Will probably never happen tbh. Unless the site randomly gets 2x the active users.

posted about a year ago

Agree with you big man. I think the diehard Valorant fanboys have an obsession with csgo being dead or dying and then diehard csgo fanboys will never accept Valorant as a competitor to cs. I think a lot of it has to do with how Valorant was advertised as the next cs killer. And cs fans are annoyed because people been calling the game dead since 2017. Unfortunately I don’t think the two games will never go without being compared to one another.

posted about a year ago

Don’t hate the guy. I just think he has a weird fanbase and is a pretty one dimensional player. I think people set their expectations way too high for him and get disappointed when he constantly falls flat. Had the same problem in CS.

posted about a year ago

The fanbase treats and compares him like he is the next s1mple.

posted about a year ago

To be fair, EU overall is still the best region in Valorant though and is still the most competitive.
BIG is a top 10 team in EU right? Probably t1 1.5 at the least.

posted about a year ago

I think every team in NA is overhyped besides Optic. The Guard are better then 100T though.

posted about a year ago

Lot of angry Valorant fans

posted about a year ago

Tell me you don’t know anything without telling me.

posted about a year ago

Exactly. Pros hardly stream cs as where in Valorant a lot of pros stream all the time and some of them even full time. Then you add that Valorant is a trendy game which causes more streamers to play it. I hardly watch anything on twitch nowadays anyway. Mainly semi finals or finals of events.

posted about a year ago

The Koreans love their league. Big reason why.

posted about a year ago

Hi Phamous,
I think casually playing cs is more fun than casually playing Valorant. I can play cs without playing the actual game which is mainly what I do. The comments on this thread is pretty cringe though lol. I can see the major hitting 2 mil but yeah not 3.

Gives the site some life though haha
