Chokers losing to flukers, that's a very APAC thing to do

posted 3 weeks ago

When I saw it at first I thought it was kind of troll, but I actually like the comp so far, even the clove. I think the the yoru, clove and omen synergize surprisingly well on this map.

Please stop swinging alone when you don't need to and also wait for your flash to pop before swinging. I swear just put him on iso and he'd be 10x better.

He'll be on the first 1.5 tier Valorant team along with Governor. And now that I think about they both played for Complexity just at different times. So we will have our first 1.5 tier Valorant org: Complexity.

AG will dominate Mobile Valorant esports in the future. You heard it here first.

It’s not about needing an “esports-specific” visa, it’s about needing any kind of legal long-term work authorization. You can’t just run a months-long league with paid international players using tourist visas. Riot would be putting themselves and the players at serious legal risk.

Also, I never said they need a literal "esports visa." What I said was they’d need a proper visa for athletic, entertainment, or contract-based work. The problem is that most LATAM countries don’t recognize esports as a legitimate profession or sport, which means you can’t qualify for sports or entertainment visas — and getting a general work visa requires an offer from a company based in that country. Riot can’t just fly people in and hope the government ignores it.

Saying it’s “easy to go from Brazil to Paraguay” is irrelevant. Yeah, traveling between South American countries is simple but that has nothing to do with staying there long-term while working in a professional, high-profile, internationally broadcast league. There’s a massive legal difference between visiting a country and working full-time in one, on contract, for months.

And on top of that, none of the countries you mentioned have the broadcast infrastructure, legal support systems, or production capability that Riot already has built in Los Angeles. Riot isn’t going to relocate an entire league just because it might be a bit easier to get a Visa.

I hope G2 does something Troll with BabyBay since they don't really have to try that hard

posted 3 weeks ago

I don't think 2G are at the level of Sen or G2 just yet.

posted 3 weeks ago

That's only two of the coaches I listed, there are so many more coaches who you could use as examples.

posted 3 weeks ago

He woke the fuck up after that ace

posted 3 weeks ago

I mean its EG so it would be a snooze fest no matter what, but at least they aren't wasting the good casters on this game

posted 3 weeks ago

You are lying now. kkOma never played at a high level, neither has d00mbros, or if you wanna look at other sports there was André Villas-Boas, Arrigo Sacchi, or José Mourinho who never played football at the top level. Bill Belechick never played American Football at an extremely high level.

Like I said its not a requirement, there have been many successful coaches who have never played the sport/esport at a high level. It simply makes it easier for a coach if they have experience playing in the sport they coach, but its in no way required.

posted 3 weeks ago

There are still countless coaches who don't have a high rank or prior experience in CS/Esports and are good at coaching. The experience of being pro or having a high rank only serves as an advantage not a requirement for being a good coach.

posted 3 weeks ago

So why is mini or mCe or Alecks such good coaches? And there are so many more coaches who have never had a high rank and are great coaches.

posted 3 weeks ago

I mean say what you will about mimi, but rank doesn't dictate whether someone knows the game well or not, or else all the coaches wouldn't be coaches.

posted 3 weeks ago

That’s not really how it works though. Having “good relations” doesn’t magically create esports-specific work visas. Tourist entry might be easier in LATAM, but that doesn’t help with running a months-long league where players are paid, on contracts, and working full-time in a foreign country.

Most of these countries don’t legally recognize esports as a profession, so there’s no defined visa path no athletic, business, or entertainment category that cleanly applies. So even if relations are good, the actual legal infrastructure just isn’t there. Riot would be gambling with players’ legal status every season which is a huge risk.

And even if Riot did try to go through the proper work visa process in places like Brazil, Chile, or Mexico, it would take longer than in the US(usually 6 to 12+ weeks, versus around 4 to 6 weeks) for a US. P-1 or B-1 visa when handled by experienced esports lawyers. On top of that LATAM systems tend to be more inconsistent towards Visa's from multiple different countries.

posted 3 weeks ago

You are literally responding within seconds of any post, if thats not loser behavior I don't know what is

posted 3 weeks ago

Basically, a tourist Visa is really easy to get in the LATAM countries, but they don't support Esports as an actual profession/sport so you can't get a athletic, business, or entertainment Visa which would be needed for VCT which takes place for most of the year. There are also a lot of legally grey areas in Esports and generally less infrastructure to support it. There are also a few other issues, but it take a couple paragraphs to explain so I will refrain from doing that.

posted 3 weeks ago

No literally almost everyone thinks that it was a mickey mouse, the only people who don't are Team Hereshits fans and EMEA fans who want to act like they are the best region because they performed well in a Mickey Mouse.

posted 3 weeks ago

EMEA got a mickey mouse one. Also they haven't won one from riot in almost 500 days which are the only trophies that really matter

posted 3 weeks ago

Says the VLR user who is literally talking shit and could not back it up if he was in a 1v1 with okeanos

posted 3 weeks ago

Now they just need to get rid of Asuna for sonofcar and 100T will actually make a lan

posted 3 weeks ago

I think he's one of the best in EMEA for sure, but I think he needs more time before we call him top 5 because some players have 1 really great season and fall off.

posted 3 weeks ago

Apparently he's having a little bit of comms issues with the team in the mid rounds, that's probably a big factor in his performance.

posted 3 weeks ago

I don't think people realize that all the LATAM countries would have a lot more Visa issues than the United States does.

posted 3 weeks ago

You think Termi would make a good use of his teams talents and let them play roles that make sense. If he did that he would have won a international by now.

posted 3 weeks ago

What makes it funnier for me is that he has an ace this year and Asuna doesn't.

posted 3 weeks ago

Don't forget Leaf/Zellsis

Also Zekken/Oxy when they play ranked seem like pretty good vibes

posted 3 weeks ago

Just drop Asuna for Sonofcar

posted 3 weeks ago

They probably sign a tier 2 talent, most likely from Cubert since the buyouts are so cheap and they won't be playing in Ascension or a player who played in tier 1 recently and got dropped.

posted 3 weeks ago

Also might as well add ShahZaM to that list

posted 3 weeks ago

Robbie not shooting okeanos’ body, and the refs are just standing there. Is there any need? what if okeanos was having a good day? Wouldn’t that make him even more happy? That’s too kind, I think riot should start handing out penalties for loser behaviour like this, here are my suggestions.

Strike 1: 250$ fine

Strike 2: 500$ and a public apology

Strike 3: 2 champs points deducted

posted 3 weeks ago

Bro made an ult just for a 0/8 ragebait

posted 3 weeks ago

You have to add in an IGL who is really disciplined and keeps the team from overheating to much. Maybe someone like Sacy, or maybe Sacy can be the coach and make the IGL someone else.

posted 3 weeks ago

If Riot implemented this Zellsis, Boaster and Jamppi would be broke.

Also remember when Zellsis was fined because he pretended to give a BJ after a round, imagine if a player did that in todays Valorant, imagine all the people who would be upset at him for it.

posted 3 weeks ago

What is an "Inshallah"

posted 3 weeks ago

He was fine its his first game in tier 1 and he's also young he'll learn and comeback better.

posted 3 weeks ago

I think he means Less as the player not having less aim then nats

posted 3 weeks ago

I saw someone say that the reason he didn't succeed in EMEA was because EMEA was too competitive, but the actual reason was because he was on m8's who even after getting rid of him still don't know what a Bo3 means and only show up for the first map.

posted 3 weeks ago

RobbieBK
Scream

Who else is on it

posted 3 weeks ago

This is like someone from NA claiming that because all of the skilled players from EMEA are white then NA just can't stop winning or vice versa.

posted 3 weeks ago

Rumor is that its demon1

posted 3 weeks ago

I think he saw your comment

posted 3 weeks ago

I don't think its confirmed by 100T

posted 3 weeks ago

Recently or even over the last year he hasn't really been performing well, even on the util side of things he hasn't really been what he was in the past. Do you think Loud should/is going to let him go in the offseason.

posted 3 weeks ago

Except he can play yoru

posted 3 weeks ago

They both look better than they did in Stage 1 in my opinion
